We stayed at the Residence in Altamonte Springs when my Dh was there for business. After his business we drove to WDW and stayed off site there. The hotel was clean and had breakfast and evening cocktail hour.

Hi- I live just about 3 miles from Altamonte and my church is in Altamonte. We always go thru there to get to Disney. It is very easy access to I-4 and Disney is about 30- 35 miles away. We usually stop at "the world's largest McDonalds" on the way. The nieces think it's great. Anyway the drive is about 40 minutes (assuming you don't try to go at rush hour). You will be driving thru downtown.
