We will be celebrating my son's 11th birthday while we are Disney World. What are some ideas that we can do that day and evening to help his day be special and different from all the other days we will spend at Disney?

Last week we celebrated our daughters 10th birthday at WDW.

We tried to arrange several special moments throughout the week.

Here are a few that we did.

  • On her birthday we did 4 parks in 1 day - read the trip report in my signature
  • Ordered a cake at Garden Grill
  • Did family portraits with Disney Event Photography
  • Frozen Premium Package - even boys will like the dessert party
  • Made sure they recognized her birthday at every table service
  • Resort brought balloons and a card.

You can also have the room decorated while you are out.

Make sure he wears the birthday button all the time! Our room host even sent balloons and card one day. And decorated the bed for her.

When I was 11 the best thing I could have heard was "Let's do whatever you want today"

Pick the park, rides, character meets and meals you want, and let Mom plan it out for you (Leaving time for you to completely change your mind on some things day of and be completely birthday spontaneous.)
