can an 11 year old go back and forth between the Edge and Lab or do they have to choose one and stick to it?

11 and 12 year olds can go to both the Oceaneers Club/Lab and the Edge. They don't have to choose one or the other. But if your 11 year old is interested in the Edge, I'd recommend he/she go there the first night. There's a session around 10:00pm when they discuss what activities will be happening during the cruise and get to know the other kids.

Back and forth. They're also old enough to check themselves in and out of the clubs as a whole.
