Would our 11 yr old granddaughter (not a precocious pre-teen) feel out of place at Norway's Princess Breakfast?? She still loves all the characters but is a bit unsure about showing it. No other children with us so we can't use that as a "cover" for her.
Thanks for any advice.

I'm sure she won't feel out of place. Dbf and I, both in our early 30's went alone to crystal palace last yr and wondered if we would feel out of place being adults at a character meal. We absolutely loved it !!! I think the characters can also tell how much interaction a particular person is comfortable with.

We were at the Princess Breakfast last August, and my 11 yo absolutely loved it. Now she was with her 8 year old sister, and the 2 had just found out that we weregoing to DisneyWorld 30 minutes earlier..... ;)

I'm sure your daughter will be fine. Be sure to have an autograph book of some sort handy! (And, since my DH wanted to have the princesses sign his hat/shirt, a sharpie would be a necessity.)

Last November we went and took our 15 year old DS. He said that he didn't want to go, although he didn't protest too much. When we got there, he ate, and took all of the hubbub in stride. The princesses made a big deal around him, and the pictures we took were fabulous! When he went back to school, he showed his friends photos of his new prom "dates!" I know that he went only because I asked him, but still he had a good time.
