At 11 months I book the allowed 7 days, I need to add days 8,9,10 one day at a time.

I have two contracts/ two membership numbers. Can I use the second contract to add on to the reservation one day at a time? Or do I have to wait for the 11 month window for day 8?

Thank you

You will have to make a second reservation using the second contract then ask MS to note that is it a continuing reservation so you won't/shouldn't need to move rooms.

It won't be considered a split stay, I believe.

Alternatively, transfer the points so the reservation can be made under one member number.

No. Two different use years, two membership numbers.
If both contracts are for the same resort, you should be able to call MS to add the additional nights to your initial reservation of 7 nights. You cannot combine the points from the contracts to get enough to reserve the same night, however. I'd call MS and ask them to add nights to your contract. If they say they can't, ask them to transfer the points you need from the second contract to the first contract. Then the CM should be able to add nights for you.

This is right, but OP should be aware that they can only do one transfer per year.

Yes, that is the rule. However, MS has reportedly been very good about waiving that rule when the member is transferring between his/her own contracts.

A bit of history: The rule was put into place many years ago, before the system had a way for MS to properly track transfers between members. Transfers were unlimited, and transferred points took on the home resort and use year of the account into which they were transferred. That allowed the unscrupulous to get undeserved home resort booking priority. Limiting transfers (along with other changes) enabled MS to put a stop to that practice.

Thanks for that info! I kind of wondered why the limit on transfers, especially if technically from the same owner.
