This trip was a last minute, spur of the moment trip!! I love disney very much!! I have no children and have always gone with family, or husband. I realized I had a week left of vacation time I had to use before the end of the year. I ended up taking the first week of December off, planning to just relax, christmas shop and decorate my home. Then it dawned on me ... I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Disney for Christmas time. To see the decorations and such. Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year so it only makes sense I would want to be in the happiest place in the world for such event. My husband was not interested as we had just been on a week long trip to Dominican Republic in November. Seeing as he knows disney christmas is on my bucket list, and we plan on starting to have babies next year who knows when we will make it again, he said I could take my mom and it would be her christmas gift!!
Such a good hubby
So with it being last minute, and due to having limited fund, we didn't have a whole lot of time. This trip will be JAM PACKED with CHRISTMAS CHEER!!
I will be *hopefully* purchasing an ipad mini to take with us to the park so I can use the mobile magic app
We also have our Magic bands and fp+ ready to go, as well as purchasing the dining plan.
We are leaving on December 3rd. We live in Michigan. Our plane leaves at 7 in the morning, and we live about an hour away from the airport. So it will be an early morning. We have 1 layover for an hour, then we arrive at MCO at 11:30. We are taking the magic express to our hotel. POP CENTURY. We have stayed there once before. I was hoping for AoA, but didn't happen. No big deal. Someday ..
Not sure if our room will be ready or not. No biggie. We grab lunch at either pop food court or Wolfgang puck express. We will head to DTD. and SHOP. I have about $100 on my disney chase rewards that I will need to redeem to a gift card. Then we will take a back to the Contempary. We have a dining ressie for 7 for Chef Mickey's. We have never ate here. Excited to give it a try. Then if we aren't exhausted, we will take a monorail to GF to check out the gingerbread house. Then sleepy!!
December 4th is our EPCOT day. We plan to get the park early, 9-10ish. We have fp+ ressie for testtrack at 1:10. Love that ride. Other then that we don't have a firm plan, wander around. I love Maelstrom and also can't wait to see some of the storytellers in world showcare. We have a dinner ressie for coral reef for 8:30. We will do lunch somewhere for QS. This will probably be the end of the night for us. Not sad to be missing illuminations, i've never cared for it
December 5th - this is our MAGIC KINGDOM day. We will get to the park earlyish again 10 or so. I am really excited to check out the new fantasyland and also jungle....scratch that ... JINGLE cruise!!
We have a lunch ressie for LTT for 2:00. At this point if we did not get a chance to go to GF the other day, we will this day. Then we will be back to the magic kingdom for Mickey's VERY MERRY Christmas Party! Can't wait. I have attended both halloween parties at WDW and DL so I am very happy to check this one out. We don't really have any expectations for the party - other then to just have fun
December 6th - We will check out of our hotel and have them store our luggage, then we will head to animal kingdom. There is not a whole lot here we want to do, safari and dinosaur which we already have fp+ for. perhaps I will ride EE on the single rider line (my mom won't do it lol). We will probably have a QS lunch at either pizzafari or FTB. Then we assume we should be back to pop at around 2:30 - 3. We will have to see what time Magic Exspres will be picking us up to bring u back to the airport to head home.
We ended up skipping Hollywood Studios because of our time limit. This is always my least favorite park. The only ride I really enjoy is TOT. I know everybody said to check out the osbourne lights, however it didn't just excite me. We have a neighborhood in our area that every year one man decorates the WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD with lights, tons of them, then you turn your radio station to a certain station and the lights all put on a show syncernized with the music. it's amazing. So I guess to me, the lights were no big deal.
I CAN'T WAIT!! If anybody has any helpful positive advice leave it! Please no snarky rude comments, no bad energy trip for me and my momma
