Technically they do offer 11 day tickets you just have to buy a 10 day ticket and then another one day ticket. I think the reason they don't offer it is because on a ten day ticket you are really only paying $36.50 per day +tax

Yeah but why not offer 11, 12 day tickets etc with out needing to pay crazy prices for for that extra one day etc

Are there a lot of people who go for more than ten days and want more than ten park days? I'm a dentist and if I were gone for that long I don't think I'd have any patients when I got home

Sure. I'm off during the summer and my husband has a flexible work schedule. We've gone for 18 days for the past couple of years and we go to the parks each day.

Am sure they had a bean counter meeting and ran all kinds of crazy math calculations and determined that after 10 days their profit on average domestic guest goes down. They may have found that even if you stay longer than that (since you have 14 days to use all) they can chance making more money on you with the Water Park Option, Disney Springs, Resort dining and other extra activities. If you opt to not stay past the 10 days then they are happy to have a new guest with fresh dollars.

I think WP&M would be great. If it's warm, you can head to the water parks, and if it's not, I've heard the mini golf is really nicely themed.

Yeah, but you get to go more frequently. That's when an AP really makes sense. We go when it's either really crowded or really hot.

We usually do, because we try to squeeze in another shorter trip on top of our 18 day trip. But a 10 day ticket + an 8 day ticket is still cheaper than an AP. So if we know for sure we are only going to Disney once during the year, only one of us in our family of four will upgrade to an AP for the discounts.

Your DW AP gives you more bang for your buck with several shorter trips.

Both times we bought, we got 2) 11 day summer trips, & 2) 8 nighters in Nov. Both times were during the AP deals.

The first time was 2012 when it was $299 for the reg. AP...& then in 2014 I believe it was $450 or so for the PAP...

No. You must be mistaking me for someone else. We usually stay at Pop. But if they introduced DVC at Pop, we just might buy in.

I'm DVC- the DVC room only discount is rarely as good as the annual pass holder discount.
