11/9 Park Opening Game Plan - Will it Work?

I'm heading to the parks this Thursday and plan on doing the following:
(Disney opens 8 am and California 9 Am)

At rope drop: immediatly getting a MP for Star Tours and going to wait in line for Space Mountain.

2: Get a MP for Cars and go wait in line for Guardians.

Hoping to be in California by 9 since that is when the park opens. Is this plan overly ambitious or will it work?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I believe Disneyland opens for Extra Magic Hour and Magic Morning one hour early on Thursdays, make sure you take that into account.

Dang you are right. There is a Magic hour at Disney, not a California :/
