11/8/06 What happened at EPCOT?

On 11/8/06 there were seemingly huge fireworks at EPCOT sometime between 11pm and 12am. The finale was immense. I could see the display from my balcony at OKW. The lead up to the finale woke me up. I ran outside to see why the room was shaking. There was also singing. The next day a cast member told me it may have been a test for the Christmas finale. Was anyone there that has info. Is the the Christmas finale going to be different this year than last?

We were at CR this past weekend and were given a letter that the magic kingdom will be testing holiday fireworks. Last year we stayed at the bcv the second weekend in dec. and received a letter that they would be testing the new years eve fireworks. They were wonderful and what a finale.
I am sure they were testing the holiday fireworks, the singing you heard at the end was most likely the addition of "let there be peace on earth". It is beautiful.
