11/30 meeting time/place thread

We need a thread to hash out a meeting place. Everyone keeps saying we've got to come up with a time & place but let's do it!

What time is everyone getting to port?
Anyone (besides me in my orange) know what they are wearing yet? Do we have our lime green ribbon?

Has anyone met any of us yet? I had the pleasure of meeting Michellemouse and her family back in May when we met for lunch. Jlmcantwait (Laurie) and I are meeting at the Radisson Fri afternoon. (Laurie - I'll tell the front desk to let you know we have arrived)

If we dont meet up in port, who's running to Palos? We can bump into each other there - lol

We have early dinner - not sure about the night - want DS to go to the Lab -

any ideas?

Hey all....we are arriving into Orlando airport at 11 A.M. and then using Disney transportation to get to the port...so I would imagine arriving in the 12:30 range...so I would imagine after check in it will be in the 1:00 range and then it is off to the cabin first(if ready) just to check it out and then off to the buffet...and we should be ready to eat by then....but I don't have a clue what I will be wearing but I will have lime green ribbon on my NY Yankee championship hat....like I mentioned earlier we are in cabin 7130...so stop by and say hello...or if you guys come up with a meeting place let me know....Palo is not a must for us...although we will check it out...but we don't run...last time we just went up leisurely and got the night we wanted...go figure....talk to you guys soon!

Want to meet at the sailaway? I imagine we will all be there one place or another - we were thinking of deck 10 but can move down closer if that's where everyone will be.

Anyone with another idea? Come on - get them going!

The sailaway party is a big family time for us...dancing, cheering when the horn blows, etc. In fact, I think it's the one thing I look forward to the most...dancing with my kids as we sail away.

Anyway, if you all choose to meet then I'll just find you later on. Like I've said, this is our last big extended-family trip for a while and that will keep me from most of the get-togethers. I'll do what I can to meet up with everyone but I can't make concrete plans.

What time will both dinners and shows be done for both groups? Is the time about the same? Maybe right after that?

I saw on a different thread that DISers had a list of everyone's rooms so if something came up (talent show, etc) they could all attend and support each other.
We can call rooms too, cant we?

I was away in Vegas this whole week, so I am finally back on the board. I haven't bought our ribbons yet, but am going to. My (almost 4yo) son will be wearing his red Roots "Canada Olympic" ball cap. I wouldn't mind meeting some people at the port, but Tom won't be there early, so it isn't perfect. I agree with Michelle that the sailaway party might be too much fun to stop and talk to everyone. Barb, my husband or I will be going to Palos and the spa to make ressies as soon as we can. I might see you there.

remember - DS and I are wearing our orange Tigger t-shirts. I'll also have my DVC backpack w/lime green ribbon & my waist pack w/ribbon - I wont be easy to miss - lol
DH also has the orange Tigger t-shirt but ?

Hopefully I will meet Linda and Laurie in line signing up our sons who seem to be very close in age.

Hey all....Tom and Marilou Christian will be in room 7130 or should I say cabin 7130 and loving it...please feel free to stop by and let's get it together so we can shoot the breeze....20 days and counting for me....it is starting to really go by fast....but I want it to SSSSSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW down when we hit the ship....but anyway...looking forward to seeing you all.

Can't wait to meet you all....but as an Islander fan...I have not forgotten last year and the bully Toronto Maple Leafs.....LOL....just looking forward to seeing you all.....
