there r 4 in our cabin (me, DH, DS7 & DD4). There r 3 in our in-law cabin down the hall (i think its 2650) and my mom did make a fe for their cabin.

just to put my 2 cents in on the fe gifts: i got the impression that the fe was developed as a way for passengers to communicate with one another and make each other smile it seems to me it is supposed to be fun so i hope no one gets too stressed about it. as for me, i was planning on taking the kids to the dollar store and getting several small (allbeit generic) gifts that will fit. i planned on putting at least 1 thing in each fe early in the cruise and then just letting each member of the family do what they want w/ the rest. I figure the kids will want to give them to their new friends and there may even be some (non-dis) people we meet on the ship that have fe's.

let me know if my ideas are way out of line

I know we agreed to meet on Deck 9 at 3pm the day we sail, however, I was thinking we should have a little more detailed spot, as Deck 9 is a busy one. Any suggestions? I was thinking Pinocchio's Pizzeria, it's close to restrooms, pools, food and it's sort of in the middle of the ship. It also looks like there is some seating in that area. Let me know if anyone has another suggestion!

Also the night before the cruise, I thought, if anyone is interested we could meet at the port about 4:30 to see the Magic take off. It would be a good time for the kids to meet. I thought there was a beach at our hotel but I am not sure and don't want to get everyone lost and confused, this might be easier!

Sounds good to me! We will be touring the Space Center on Saturday. If we get back in time, we would love to meet and watch the Magic take off from the port!

We're doing something very similar.
I agree - it's vacation - it shouldn't be work to do the FEs - just fun!

Yes, I agree too. I wouldn't want this to turn out as a "big" expense for anybody. Just a lot of DIS fun.

As far as meeting by Pinocchio's Pizzeria, that sounds fine with me. But do you think we should have a rain location too, say the Promonade (sp) Lounge -- same time?

Yes I agree we need a rain place and I think that is a perfect place!! I can't wait to meet everyone!! This is going to be so much fun.. I sure wish it was closer but at the same time I am not ready for the snow to come so I will be happy to enjoy the wait.
