Hello Everyone!

Looks like we are coming on the 11-29-08 cruise also.

Intros: My name is Greg my wifes name is Janel and we have 4 kids Chayce, Nicole, Brayden & Holly (two boys and two girls, ages at cruise time 13, 7, 4, 1.

This will be our first Disney cruise and we are really looking forward to it...(well my wife and I are), my kids don't know anything about it. It's going to be an early Christmas/birthday surprise for my kids. My two girls both have birthdays in Decemeber on the 20 & 22 at which time they will turn 8 and 2. We are going to do the 7 day cruise and then spend 7-8 days at Disney World before going back home to Idaho! BBRRRRRR

We were referred to this site my "mom x4 grandma x4" so many thanks to her for referring us here and all the good information she has given us!

My name is Dawn. I travel with my two DGS Skylar and Christian, who will both be 12 when we cruise. This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise!

You said that you were spending time at the world too. Have you been there before? Are you going before or after the cruise? How exciting for you!

I think that we are actually more excited this time (if that's possible) because now we know what to expect and want to do! Everyone told me just hold on because you won't believe the time you will have. I knew without a doubt that we would love it and have a great time but if I can say...they were right! You can't even imagine the fun that you will have!

I am all ready accept frosting and decorating cookies at the last minute and making a couple of salads for Christmas eve and day.

Have you guys been to that neat ice cream place in the Yacht and beach Club resort?? I was trying to think of its name. I was thinking Greg and his family might get a kick out of ordering the Kitchen Sink there.
Maybe Jeff has been there with his family if you havnt?

I think it's something like Peaches and Cream but that may be somewhere else.

Did you notice Bill is back to his usual self today

We are really excited about this cruise and trip to Disney World. We are doing the World after the cruise. None of us have ever been their before. There is so much information about Disney World and what to do its kinda overwelming? I think we'll trying and do a day or two at Universal Orlando also!?

Originally we were planning on doing the 3 day Bahamas cruise and then Disney World, but my wife and I thought it would be so nice to do the 7 day cruise and not have to worry about where to eat and what to do for 7 whole days!!

Anyway, you'll have to fill me in on what all the abreviations mean? Like DH, DD etc. I'm a little lost? (sorry)

Welcome Greg and family! I'm Jeff and I'll be traveling with my DW Mina and DDs Elizabeth (10 at time of cruise) and Emily (4 on cruise). You will LOVE DCL. Lots of people will tell you it's better to go to the parks first and then cruise, but I like doing it the other way around when we can do both. That's because you are SO sad getting off that ship that going to the parks softens the blow a bit.

Kathy, Thanks for the Abreviation codes!? HOLY COW!! Its like another language! And I thought between my wife and I we were doing good to be able to Speak Portugese, Spanish, Italian, French, Hungarian & German...now I'll have to brush up on the Disboard lingo!

jd99, Originally we were going take the cruise after Disney World, but that would have put us on the Eastern cruise leaving on Dec. 6. My wife and I decided the Western cruise looked like allot of fun for our kids, plus after the cruise we'll be staying in a timeshare at Disney with a washer & dryer so we can do laundry!
