Ummm Do Not come over here and rub it in about your ressies, please go back to your 07 friends (who will NEVER replace me ) mind you.
At least my true friend Cheri:hug: was not over here bragging about her ressies and her new cruisemates, of which I am not one and making me all sad., :rolleyes1 submit reply

Your true friend had her lap top die somewhere between 10:00 p.m Saturday and 1:45 a.m. Sunday!!!:scared1: :scared1:

DH has bought me a replacement, so now the 2008 deposit is sitting on my desk.:sad2:

I'll do my best to keep her loyal!!!!:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

I'm stepping aside of the three/four headed monster to declare a truce. I wont bring up that nasty nasty OTHER vacation on here....for DENISE.

Hon, you may find that after a time, its better NOT to have me on your side.
I cause a lot of trouble.

ZING!
Boy, I'm not getting on Denise's bad side!!

Morning all,

off to pack for our trip today.
Then tomarrow early I take Pixie to the vet for a quick check of her stitches and then back to leave for the airport for a long day of flying.

Greg bought us one of those small DVD players for the trip. It has a 3 1/2 hour battery so we can watch two short movies ok or one long one. That will help to pass the time since they no longer show movies, or at least most of the time.
Total air time is about 7 1/2 hours, plus a 90 minute layover in Denver.

I will be back at least once more before we go to see what is happening here.
anybody got plans for the holiday weekend??

Kathy

Well, alas, no Roy Suite for me. Of course, now that it has increased to 325 million for Friday, we could rent both the Magic AND the Wonder! Have dueling horns off CC or something like that.

As for Wally in the suite next to me....hmmm....being THE headliner of the group ;) I might have to have both suites so that my entourage can stay close and take care of me!:lmao:

Kathy - Depending on what airline you are flying and how the plane is configured, there may be a power port at your seat (American has them throughout the wide body cabins). If so, you can buy an adapter that plugs in and thus you don't have to worry about battery power. I have one for my laptop and it helped greatly on the trip to Maui. Do a little research online - most airlines have a section called "On the Plane" or some such thing that gives you all info you need as to what kind of adapter to use and what seats they are located at. I know you aer leaving tomorrow, but you can usually buy these items at Best Buy, computer stores or radio shack.

Also, dependent on the airline, if the trip is 3 hours or more, they may show a movie also. And, if you are good little boys and girls, you may get an extra bag of peanuts!:lmao: (Sorry, too much business travel in the cost-cutting age tends to jade you to the onboard "services" for coach class.)

Have a wonderful trip, Kathy! Safe travels!

I like southwest - they don't pretend they're gonna give you food or entertainment, but they get us there safely. That's all I ask. I can pack a lunch.

We have GREAT weekend plans - we'll be flying to WDW on Saturday! Poor Lynn though - I think she's moving :(

Happy Day.

Hey Linda:

I get to move too. I would rather poke my eyeballs out with a blunt object than move. Please say a prayer that Trey makes it though alive.

Jeff,
thanks for the tip i will check it out. the player came with 2 different adapters for charging. one for the car and one for house plug in.
we are flying United this time.

Bob, last 3 trips our legs were 4 hours and almost 4 hours and they still didnt play a movie. That was delta i believe. It has been about 7 years since we have run into a movie on board.
I wish they would have one, at least on one part of the trip then i would save m y DVD for the other half to help kill time.
Marie said 2 years ago when they came out here she had a movie but I dont know which line it was.

we are prepared this time either way.

Linda,
have fun at WDW, it will be crowded.

I cant believe you guys didnt win the big jackpot:sad2:
I didnt win either, of course I didnt get a ticket , so I guess I didnt have much of a chance. I have a stack of about 25 ones on my refrigerator that I got one dollar at a time by filling out surveys in the mail. The dollar was just in the envelope when I opened the junk mail so I took the survey and a few weeks later I got another one with a dollar in it. Now I have about 25 of them and they are my gambling money for lottery tickets or scratch offs.

I am just too cheap to spend them:rolleyes1 Maybe i will buy a ticket for myself and my mom on my way to her house friday morning. That would be a great surprize for her if she won, plus I know my mom, she would share with me:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: if she won.

catch everyone later,

kathy

Kathy - On American, I think the car charger would fit as that is what I had to essentially buy for my computer. Check with United.

Will that help??:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Evening all:

Oh, my gosh, you too? This weekend?? Oye. I hope it's cooler where you are than here or in Florida, Tonya, honey. You're going to melt and fade away. I did wonder, when you said you were hunting, if you really knew what you were getting into! If I move again it will be to change locations and movers will do it NOT to a different house here with me lugging and toting. Hmm. I see why Pat's Praying!
