Good morning everyone! My oldest daughter was born on February 29th. She is almost 7 3/4 years old!

What's a fleur de lis cake? Just a cake with a pic of the fleur de lis on it or something else? Just wondering.

Lauri-I am glad you and DS are ok. I was just thinking about you wondering how you were doing. I am glad you posted. Please keep us up to date. Here is a big for you.

Wendy-Your party sounds great!! I really don't follow football too mcuh. I mean look at our Detroit Lions-not much to follow there I must say I think they did win their last game of the season. Who knows maybe they will turn it around next year like the Tigers did this year.

DD has a friend over today and I will be doing my favorite thing . Tonight we have a fire department retirement party to go to. Tomorrow we will be getting with friends to plan our summer camping adventures. Hope you all have a great day!!

Sarah, we eat King Cake here at Mardi Gras time, its basically a huge cinnamon roll type of cake usually shaped round with icing and purplr green and gold spinkles on top. They have a little plastic baby in it and whoever gets the piece with the baby, tradition says buys the next king cake. So for the Saints this year one bakery made them in the shape of a fluer de lis.

Kathy, you should see the city, its a sea of black and gold...Its great to see everyone so excited, as we should be this being the FIRST time ever we have gotten this far. I swear if we win tomorrow they will have to shut the city down for the next two weeks.

I have lived here my whole life and never owned a Saints shirt but I bought two in the last 2 weeks Its so much fun to have a winning team for a brief time.

Now no crow will be eaten tomorrow, I will be thrilled to win but win or lose we are having a blast with this and we will be at the airport tomorrow night to welcome the boys home.

Now Denise and DBW, have ya'll seen any Saints fans yet, they are showing them on TV and it looks like they are having a blast there.

Good Morning All ,
Well it is another cold and windy day here in NY. Did not do anything yesterday. I used Giada's ( from Food Network) cookbook that I got for Christmas and made Pasta e Fagioli soup. It was YUMMY !!! DS has MORE teeth coming in and ofcourse that is making him cranky and just wants Mommy !!! Well nobody has come to see the townhouse this weekend. I am kinda getting worried because we have to sell this by May 1st to get the house we want!! Today we are off to my Mom's house from dinner because my Uncle is coming to meet DS. He never meet Drew because he has been fighting cancer!! Yesterday I bought DS the cutest Derek Jeter T-shirt to wear to a baseball party that he was invited too. Well DH went to a card show so let me go because I have to get bottles ready and pack the car. Talk to you all later!!
