I looking through the cruise critic port boards for stuff to do in Grand Cayman. I've gone to the Sting ray city sand bar; I've gone to the diving Sting Ray City. I just want to take a tour of the island and hang out, probably not stay too long. We even considered just staying on the ship.

I'm looking at some posts that suggest renting a car, and just driving around. I may look into that. One place mentioned is Sunset House, within walking distance from the port.

Gosh, I am the only one on here that's not a DVC member. I just can't join out of principle. When Joey and I first got married we went to a presentation. It was only $50 a point and we didn't buy into it . Now it's just too expensive.

We're not DVC members either Christine.

Good Morning everyone,

I just got caught up on posts. My family isnt part of the DVC either. We would love to be but not sure how it really works. Im hoping to go to the presentation on the ship. Their is no way we could afford it for many years and by then the price will be even worse. We never seem to win.

Im really looking foreward to seeing the movies on the ship. We never go to movies here so this is an added magical treat for me and the boys.

I'm still feeling a little under the weather. But, I am going to work as usual. I am so ready for the cruise and the trip to WDW. We are getting excited about the trip. I still need to purchase FE gifts and my regional gift.

I'm so excited it's getting closer, that I might even pack a few things pretty soon! At least the shorts, and swimsuits. I don't think we'll be using those anymore this year, even down here in La.

We are not DVC memebers either, but we have a timeshare, so we can exchange it for Disney properties.

Marie, We like to see some of the movies. Instead of paying to go see them--we'll see them on the ship! Some of them will be on the big screen too so you don't have to miss any outdoor time.

We do not have DVC either. Probably should have jumped on when we went to Hilton Head for a presentation and a free stay!
