We booked the Med. Who knows if we will keep it. We hope so. We had planned Greece to see the relatives last summer but after Mina's mom passed away it just wasn't going to happen. Same for this summer. So we think that going all out and combining a 7-10 day trip to Greece with an 11 day Med trip is the perfect once in a lifetime trip for us. It will give us a taste of Greece - we're a little worried because while the family lives in Athens, they summer on a pretty un-touristy island with few hotel rooms -- and these are folks that I have never met (nor the kids) and Mina hasn't seen in more than 20 years.

So instead of just a long trip to Greece (our original plan) combining the two might be the perfect way to "test the waters" with Greece for future trips and to do something we love and which is familiar. Plus I get to visit my roots (my mom's family is from Florence).

Got Two conncecting SPR's...Booked My family, DD's boyfriend, and Jessie...If Jessie's parents (Bobby & Cindy, MORAN CLAN) say she can't go (Why? I don't know why, it's a free vacation ) but then I can put another of my DD's friends for no extra charge.
I'd have to see because I really want the Southern Caribbean, but I have to see what you guys are looking at.

Jeff on getting your Med booked. I really want the Med, DH has no want to go to Europe.

We'll have to see, because I still want Alaska...Like a kid WANT WANT WANT!

Shouldn't those all be assigned by now? I thought it was usually done by about 2 months from the cruise date.

I don't know how people get those SPH rooms. I was on first thing after 8 a.m. There were lotsa problems with the website so I finally finished my booking at 8:30 a.m. I was afraid to check another category because the website kept kicking me out. So I went on a little while ago looking for SPH or Secret Verandah... of course all gone.

Given that this cruise is almost two years away, I'm considering moving up to a verandah room. I figure that extra time gives me time to make more cash.

We are still not 100 percent sure we are going to keep our August 09 Eastern with Tortola. If we end up canceling that I can justify the upgrade...

Cheri, yes, I believe you're right and all cabins are assigned at 60 days out. Or is it 45 days? That would be I think today or tomorrow.
