No, my Mom wants us to stay here. She wants to have the wake tomorrow and doesn't want to worry about us getthing there in time. It's something we had discussed regarding our other Grandmother but I'm really having a hard time not looking up flights.

Christine I know exactly how you feel, I told you the other night my sister passed away in August and although we waked her and buried her in NY (She lived in FL) When I found out I wanted to get the first flight to Florida to see her while she was still in the hospital and then all the waiting to get her here was so stressful. So I know how you feel. I still can't believe it. Call me if you want to talk.

:grouphug: I couldn't even imagine losing my sisters :grouphug:

Hey everyone...

Today is a sad day for me. My Grandmother passed away:sad1: and it's not the one I mentioned a few days ago. This is my Mom's Mother. She has been in a nursing home for about 9 years but it's still a shock. I just feel so bad for my Mother. Especially since she just lost her step mother 2 weeks ago.

I am sorrry Christine:grouphug: :grouphug: and prayers coming your way.

We are sad this week too. The elderly lady who we have been caring for the last 10+ years has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. They said she has 3-6 months, but yesterday John went to see her and she did not know him:guilty: and she loves John. We are hoping she goes peacefully. We do not want to see her suffer. She is 92 and has lived a good life. It is still sad though. She has been like a second grandma to us.

If those stay true to our cruise, looks like we have an ALL ABOARD in Cozumel @ 1 am. :scared1: Wonder how many will miss that?

Is it just me or are most of the entertainers new?? I only recognize Freddie Fusion's name......I sure will miss Rich Purpura :sad1:

I wish they would change some of the kids activities. They changed the age groups...so my oldest has been essentially doing the same things for three years now. Used to be 8-9 and 10-12. Now it's 8-10 and 11-13. I'm afraid she is going to be a bit bored with doing flubber and volcanos one more time.

Please please please I hope she makes great friends so it doesn't matter so much.

Given how many multiple repeat cruisers there are on DCL, you'd think they'd spend a little time fussing with the programming. Oh well... again. friends friends friends.

Hey They changed the ages of the stack. What's that all about? :confused3

DD never went to any Disney clubs because they always bored her now she was looking forward to the stack and they changed the ages. They've always let me put her in a group up, does anyone know if they still allow that?

I hate to call DCL because they never have a clue of what is happening on the ship. Maybe I'll call my TA, and see what he says.

Oy Vey another wrench in the plans

Jeff, this is the 2nd time I've had to give this to you today

I think we are going to give Elizabeth limited check out privileges this year. So she can do a little bit of exploring on her own. The kind where she has to have us paged when she checks out. SO that all may help. We won some walkie talkies at a school event so we will have a back up.

I am going to wait to call my TA until the end of the week, with DCL coming out with prices on the Med cruises tomorrow it will be insane in their office.

I would rather sail RCCL than have my DD up my heels (Read between the lines here, on where I really think she will be) :lmao:

THey did this in the summer "as an experiment" -- IMHO it caused much of the crazy kids running amuck. That's because the 11-13 year olds in OceanQuest don't have to be checked in/out...just come and go as they please. Great for the 13s and maybe even the 12s...but the 11s? I don't think so.

Is she 13? I think the 13s have the choice pretty much up to the parents - if they go Stack or OceanQuest.

Yes, she will be 13. She has NEVER went to the clubs except when she was in 1st grade and I told her she had to go their when we went to Palo's.

She was always too mature for the clubs and bored out of her seat.

That's the world I'm starting to live in. Lizzie liked making flubber - the first time. The only thing I am counting on is that she will make a good friend or two and WANT to hang in the clubs...Fingers crossed.
