Well, NOT NOW............

Actually, I think you said if you allowed Joey to pack himself, he would bring a bathing suit, t-shirt and 10 pairs of clean underwear. I think I'm using his packing list and since I don't wear undies

40 freaking pages I had to catch up on and I still have 11 to go

So, quick update: our office flooded over the weekend and I'm ready to pull my hair out. Monday afternoon, my good friend that I've known for 17 years, her daughter was rushed to the hospital because she had an allergice reaction to something and stopped breathing. Yesterday, I get a phone call telling me that same GF had just swallowed a bottle of Ambien and was being rushed to the hospital. Some of you might recall right before the cruise last year that my other GF did the same thing. I don't get it, I really don't. And both of them, it was over a man!!!!!

Thanks. I should have mentioned that she is doing better but she has to stay in the Psch ward for 5-7 days. She has three kids at home.

That stinks...what did you do? How many days into the cruise were you?

Well, it happened on the 8th day of the 10 day cruise, and it was our last port stop. It happened late that night, we were suppose to be on board by 11PM, and it was about 10PM. I fell over a parking lot curb marker. I was able to walk back to the ship, crying of course. I just went to our cabin and took some Advil, and put some ice on it. Then the next morning, I walked on it and it felt really sore. I just thought it was bruised really bad, since it was swollen and black and blue. I hobbled around all day, soaked in the hot tub at the spa.

The next day, we got off the ship. By this point, I was taking some stronger pain meds. I always carry these with me, just in case. We took a taxi to airport and flew to Atlanta for a layover until our last leg of the flight. In Atlanta, but a had a long layover, about 8 hours due to storms. As we sat, my foot was getting worse.

When we FINALLY got home, we went straight to the ER. The bone on the side of my foot was broken. ER doc out me on crutches and told me to see a specialist the next day. I ended up having to wear one of those boots all summer- 12 weeks. HOT!!!

We went to St. Thomas, St. Marteen, Barbados, Antigua, St.Lucia, Aruba, and Curacao. It was so nice to see all the ports, but it was tiring, you had to get up really early everyday, and we stayed up really late too.
