Good morning Nana's! I hope everyone has a great weekend. DH's cousin gets married today and they are trying to save, save, save so they have asked DH to take pictures so we'll be there at 1:00 till......whenever I guess. I've gotta get some work done this morning (work, work)! I need to be doing some housework but that'll have to wait until later. I can't believe my sister will be getting on the Magic for her eastern 1 week from today!!!! Be back a little later to check in.

OK IM still not sure about Chananaab park. I have asked on the board and all but not reallt getting much of an answer beside the dolphin swin. Now this would be a dream come true for me but not even close to being in a budget for us.

Mom does not get in the water at all, I may step in it but that prob it. Will we have enough to do and see on our own while RIck the boys and my dad swim and try( they have never done it) to snorkel? Is it worth it to pay the money through Disney to go or should we just have the men go to a close beach.

What great stuff will there be to do for two women that like to sightsee and shop and take pictures????

I had a great time there taking my mom and my son. We enjoyed the trails with the ruins and the little shops that sell a variety of stuff. My son and I also had our pic taken by someone while snorkeling and we bought it pretty cheap. I am debating on going again but now that I have an 18m old it is a little different. Plenty to do and we went on our own! Just walked off the pier and caught a cab to the park and then when we were finished caught on back! Real easy and no need for going thru disney IMHO

Morning all:

Wow, this must be a big wedding weekend, 4th wedding I know about now....hope everyone has great weather for it.

So I had a nice visit with Heather yesterday...went out to dinner with my two kids and my son's girlfriend...then Heather and I did a little shopping....she is doing fine and looks really good....I got to see the ultrasound pictures...they were quit impressive (at 12 wks)....you could make out the whole face. see the little arms and legs that are forming and the umbicial cord and the spot that looked white but was the heartbeat.....it was very exciting ......even Heather's dad was excited and was rubbing her belly so the baby would "get to know his grandpa" ....it was a very good moment....

So going out for breakfast now, grocery shopping then getting ready for the wedding tonite. I will try and be back later....

We got there late so we were stuck sitting in middle school hell - a section where all the middle school kids push each other down the bleachers and hormones rage. OMG I can't believe we're going to be living in that world soon.

Today I get to FINALLY get my i-phone! Been waiting for our old Verizon contract to run out so we can make the switch without incurring big fees. Have to pay one buy out but that's better than 3.

I wonder how Bob is doing in Russia? Can't wait to hear from him.

Although I don't have it yet, I already know enough about the iphone to know that it's all that. I have an itouch that does everything the original iphone does (except it's not a phone). Lots more applications and enhanced features on the new iphones and the price is much better too.

My wife and I did the Spa Villas one time (which I believe is where they do the alone time too) and it really was a treat. Our only challenge was that we were getting close to the end of our time - had just come in from the verandah hot tub and our pager went off So after all that relaxation we immediately snapped back into stress mode. because our youngest was paging us to leave the club.

Cab is easy to get to and from? Any idea of a price? We would need to take 2 with their being 6 of us. I love to wlak trails and I . It sound like a nice place to at least try. Thanks for your help.

Ok I just reread over the offer from Disney for the excursion. It includes both places, all snorkel equipment for all, and lunch. Plus some type of Fiesta for the the kids. I think that it works out good.

Does anyone know where the Magic docks and once back from excursion is we will be close enough to some shopping for mom and me to do some for about an hour?
