tough it out, cowboy.....on a bright note, though...I hear they're doing away with the coal engines.

Morning Nanas:banana:  Staying home this morning. Thursdays afternoon/evening is our busiest day of the week. Madison has dance, then we go staight to AWANA at church. Hope everyone is having a good day. Heres some                        :

HI SHELL!!!

If you are still interested in getting together for dinner, once we schedule Lizzie's birthday party, let's set a date. We thought we were going to be in NY but she changed her mind so now our October looks a little more open.

HI J-FED! Name the date ... we'll be ready!

With kids or without this time? Not sure if we have a babysitter that Mina will trust them with if we go "out of state" :lmao: but we can talk about it.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for all the nice greetings for Elizabeth! She had a good birthday, though her mean math teacher gave her a "missed assignment slip" because she somehow forgot to turn in a page of homework. First time it's ever happened and she had to get it on her birthday. Not happy with that teacher today because she caused lots of unneeded drama. Anywho...we had a great dinner at a Japanese steakhouse in between various dance classes. And Lizzie got her first Vera Bradley purse and glasses case -- Oy -- along with other stuff.

Happy Thursday all!

Whichever. Your call!

I agree. I think the pool is an icky abomination but if you look at those photos, a lot of it is really nit picky stuff. The desk has a dent and the dresser has a nick. OMG call in the coast guard. DCL never said it was going to change out all the furniture in every stateroom did they? OF COURSE there are going to be dings and nicks for heaven's sakes. Some people are never happy. Looks like a crew of "I'm going to complain because I wanna get some money out of DCL" posting on that thread. Ok rant over.

I'm tellin' ya...these people are out there just waiting for any excuse to complain and a ship just out of drydock is the perfect target. You know they were looking for any excuse to take pictures and say how bad it was.

What are they replacing it with -- more human power???!!!:lmao: :lmao: Hopefully I'll get to see youze guys a couple times during the week.

Good morning Nana's!!

Not to much going on today.

I'm going to winterize our motorhome this morning and put it in the garage for the winter. Normally I wait until October to do it, but since we're headed back to Park City for a week this Sunday I'm pretty sure we're not doing another camping trip this year?!

I'll check in later this afternoon. :thumbsup2

Good morning nanaheads,
Its a quiet, cool morning this morning here. Suppose to warm up to the 80's this weekend:goodvibes

Nothing much happening here today.
I am bored so I am sitting here waiting for the Rocket man to blast off and fly across the English Channel this morning with his jet pack device..

so far the weather is holding him back.

Nothing else going on here today.

Hope your all having a good thursday, the weekend is almost here:thumbsup2

Christine,
hows the toe doing now?

Kathy

Good Morning!!!

I thought of more questions last night to ask all of you Nana's. I also told DH about all of you too!

What is the weather like in Nov/Dec for cruising from Fl? Is it too cold to use the pools and wear shorts? We have cruised in Jan a couple of times, and I must admit, that leaving out, it was too chilly to be out at the pool without long pants and shirts.

Also, is the ship pretty cool at night too? IN the shows, dining rooms, etc...
And Castaway Cay? Chilly or not? Anyone done the glass bottom boat there? I have it down right now.

I have sailed twice in Nov and it has been perfect if not a little hot outside.

I have never been cool on the ship at night. I know a lot of people say to bring a sweater but I have never needed one. Even at the pirate party on deck ten at 10:30 at night pirate: .

Castaway Cay is very hot...but the water is cold at first.

How will we survive without you for a whole week:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Kids must be feeling better if the trip is back on again:thumbsup2

Christine,
hows the toe doing now?

Kathy

I can't believe it still hurts and I can't go a whole day in my platforms:mad: I'm wearing flats for the next few days so I can wear my sparkly new shoes on Sunday night to dinner.

Thanks for asking.

Wow Christine!! Nice wedding pictures!! :woohoo:

I didn't realize you had a "Disney" wedding?! :cool1:

Happy Anniversary to you and Joey!! party: party: party:

I think it's pretty common knowledge that the first couple cruises after dry dock are usually lacking some of the usual amenities. Cruise at your own risk...(the pools were pretty bad, though!)

On the main forum, he mentioned that a lot of stateroom were closed off -- perhaps some of those are getting fixed up a bit????
