hehe....good jokes as usual, mom. I'm havin a little trouble here. I'm having bad experiences with PTSD.... its all brought on from the past. Its a maddening thing to deal with.....pity me.

Thanks for all the formal wear replys.

On the first couple of cruises that we took, we always went all out dressing up, then we started just taking a dark suit for DH and for me a black dress. In fact, we've took the same stuff on the past 4 or 5 cruises! The pictures are funny!!

But, this time, since we are new to DCL, I'd like to really go all out and get some new clothes. I hope DH agrees, of course, he'll have to wear whatever I pack!!LOL!!

See you fit in with us perfectly. Most of our DH's have to wear what we pack for them.

My mom is doing well thanks for asking!!! She is just bummed she can't walk yet, though on the bright side she is already on the 3rd Twilight Book

So is my Mom and Friend. My sister is on the 2nd book. I am halfway through Midnight Sun...OMG it's so good. I really wish she would finish it. My other friend is reading Twilight, as soon as she is done I am going to read it again

HI all. Had a dermatology appt this am for a little place on my left arm that's been there for a year +. Dr. said it was a benign dermatofibroma (benign) being the key word here. Anyway, wasn't expected anything to be done today but he said, "we can take it off today if you'd like" which = !! I'm a big 42 year old baby to be honest with you but it was really nothing now that it's over. It injected two syringes of phenylephrine into it and then did an 8mm punch biopsy, stitched it up and dressed it with gauze and bandages. The needle part was the only thing that bothered me really (I don't like needles!!) So, I can't lift anything, stretch or pull anything with that arm, or get it wet until I go back in 2 weeks to get the stitches out. Have a terrible headache right now but gotta get some work done first and then maybe go lie down for a bit. Jeff, I'm sure nothing compared to what you had...hope things are still going well for you. Hope you all have a wonderful day and night for Elizabeth's B-day. (try to show her all the birthday wishes here).

Another Question for you past cruisers...


Does anyone know if they have Silk Vanilla soymilk onboard the Magic? Our DS2 will need it for the cruise. I can take some from home, but the website states that you can not take on food and drink from home, except for baby formula and baby food. And I don't think I could convince them that DS needs it to survive, so they probably won't let me take it with me.

Do they have it in the restaurants or stores?

And one more thing, do they have chips. crackers. etc... for DS snacks?

Don't know about soymilk but the do let you bring liquor on board. As long as you don't pack it in your checked luggage. Does it need to be refrigerated? If so I don't think that cool boxes in the room will keep it good for a week.

Most folks know PTSD as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.... in my case its Pre Traumatic Sailing Disorder. I had THE DREAM last night. No, not the one where Bob is dressed like Carmen Maranda...the other one. The one where you dream you've already been on the cruise, its over and you can't remember anything that happened. I know its gonna happen again.... I just know it. Hold me close......

I have a reoccuring vacation dream too. Mine is the one where it's the morning we are leaving for vacation and completely forgot to pack and I only have an hour to get to the airport Maybe that's why I have already started a small pile of clothes
