HI all. Had a dermatology appt this am for a little place on my left arm that's been there for a year +. Dr. said it was a benign dermatofibroma (benign) being the key word here. Anyway, wasn't expected anything to be done today but he said, "we can take it off today if you'd like" which = :scared1: !! I'm a big 42 year old baby to be honest with you but it was really nothing now that it's over. It injected two syringes of phenylephrine into it and then did an 8mm punch biopsy, stitched it up and dressed it with gauze and bandages. The needle part was the only thing that bothered me really (I don't like needles!!) So, I can't lift anything, stretch or pull anything with that arm, or get it wet until I go back in 2 weeks to get the stitches out. Have a terrible headache right now but gotta get some work done first and then maybe go lie down for a bit. Jeff, I'm sure nothing compared to what you had...hope things are still going well for you. Hope you all have a wonderful day and night for Elizabeth's B-day. (try to show her all the birthday wishes here).

Wendy...hope things went well with your mother!!!

Be back later to check in with you guys!!

My mom is doing well thanks for asking!!! She is just bummed she can't walk yet, though on the bright side she is already on the 3rd Twilight Book:cool1:

greg its actually pleasant here today the weather is beautiful, one of the few non hot days we get...

Hmmm needles don't bother me, as a mater of fact they come in handy with some PITA patients, right okie??

Another Question for you past cruisers...

Does anyone know if they have Silk Vanilla soymilk onboard the Magic? Our DS2 will need it for the cruise. I can take some from home, but the website states that you can not take on food and drink from home, except for baby formula and baby food. And I don't think I could convince them that DS needs it to survive, so they probably won't let me take it with me.

Do they have it in the restaurants or stores?

And one more thing, do they have chips. crackers. etc... for DS snacks?

Welcome Steph & Family!!

:welcome:

I'm Cheryl and I'm sailing with my hubby Charles and DD(14.) We're repeat DCL cruisers but first time Nanas.

Marie, my fingers are crossed for you. Those pills did the trick for one of my my DDs within 3 months of starting the cycles. She thought she'd never have a little one and now she has a 3 year old and a 4 month old. :grouphug:

Denise, lots of prayers for your niece. I hope she's doing better since you posted about her.

Well, it's hard to believe but we're preparing for another freaking storm at work. It looks like a northeaster is forming off the coast and will hit us over the next two days. Gee I'll be glad when it's time to fly out of this place and head to the Magic!

Wendy ... more proof. My mom got her foot operated on today ... :thumbsup2

I'm sure you can bring it from home. They let you bring wine onboard so I'm sure they will let you bring snacks and soy milk for a 2 yr old.

Howdy folks!!
Verna's been whippen me up a new batch a moonshine today and I think she's been samplen it a bit to much. I forgot the take my lunch with me to work at the walmart this morning so I had to come home and git it. Hope everyone is doin good.

I spitting contest off the side of the ship is a possibility. Just gotta clear those balconies below ya.;)

Belchin contest is a must after a few good belts too:thumbsup2

I will even volunteer to be the judge for y'all.

How long you and Elmer been hitched??
They do have a contest with married couples in one of the clubs one night.
You have to be married the longest or shortest and one in between to get picked. I have a feeling you just might be picked for that show.

Its a hoot!!

Wow! Verna and Elmer, I'm pretty sure you're putting us on here, but I swear you sound an awful lot like my kin from the Appalachians. And yor a'scarin me sumthin fierce! Looking forward to makin yor acquantence.

Lisa, since your new you probably havnt met Elmer, Verna and The Inspector yet.

They joined us on July and August and have been entertaining us since then.

Problem we arnt quite sure who or what they are:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

we have a contest going to guess their identities.:confused3

When people think they know who they are, they PM me their guesses which will be announced at our meet and we will get to meet them in person:thumbsup2

If they dont confess as to who they are at the meet , when we find out we will make them walk the plankpirate:

so have fun with it and ask them questions, look for clues from the Inspector and send me your guess when you decide. all guesses are kept secret. If you have a question PM me and I'll answer them for you.

if you notify them ahead of time they will have soy milk for your son.
They dont carry it as a rule but they will get it fi they know someone needs it on a cruise. Calll DCL and make sure that is added to your reservation information.
Best to fill out a medical form too and send it in, just extra protection that they will remember to get it.
I know people who have done this.

I'm sure you could get crackers from the dining room.
They do sell mickey cookies that are like animal cookies and all kinds of chips in the stores. The chips are in a store by the clubs where they sell alcohol too. They have lots of snacks there too.

But around the pool areas you can get small bags of chips for free, fries, fresh fruit, pasta and wraps. Other foods too.

Not sure what he can or cant eat but if he eats any fresh fruits you can get lots of that and take back to your room from Goofys galley. they have watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, strawberries, bananas, apples and more.

In the dining room they will puree any food on the menu that you might normally feed him too.
No microwaves for heating stuff. Just hot water.

Kathy

No shirts here yet either, but hopefully this afternoon:thumbsup2

My mailman has come and gone, so maybe tomorrow. I have a feeling that I'll need to order another shirt for Chayce.

I thought he took a men's small, but it appears he's now into a men's medium!!

Ya, its a good thing we're staying across the street from one of the outlet malls in Orlando, so I can get last minute clothes for the kids! :rotfl2:

:grouphug: :grouphug: for your niece, Denise. Keep us posted.

I want to thank everyone for the prayers and pixie dust. At this time we are just not sure. She had a placenta abrubction (sp?)...they are trying to stop the bleeding...they did get the contractions stopped. So we just dont know...so thanks and keep them coming just a little longer.

Gracie Allen's Roast Beef Recipe

----- My style of cooking ---------------------
I'm sending this to people who might be old enough to
know who Gracie Allen was, and you younger ones might get a kick out
of it! She was the original BLONDE!!!!!!

Gracie Allen's Classic Recipe for Roast Beef

1 large Roast of beef
1 small Roast of beef

Take the two roasts and put them in the oven. When the little one burns, the big one is done.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So thats why I keep burning the roast!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
