Dawn,

Beautiful pictures!! Thanks for sharing with all of us!

Kim,

I'm looking forward to going up to that area of the state. We haven't been up to the mountains in a few years and it should be beautiful up there right now.

Hi Kim.

What parks did you go to on Thanksgiving and the day after last year? How were the crowds?

We did the Christmas lights at MGM on Thanksgiving. We entered the park about 30 minutes before closing. We were able to comfortably walk through the lights and we weren't rushed out. I don't know what the crowds were like that day for the rides.

The day after, we went to Epcot. We really had to pick and choose what we wanted to do. By the evening time, World Showcase was unbearable anywhere near the Candlelight Proc.

I know what it's like to be that close to the parks and not go. This year though, I am going to try to resist. I wouldn't DREAM of going to the MK. You mentioned AK. That might be alright. Because like the rest of us, you have been so many times; it will still be nice to walk through the parks and see everything for Christmas and maybe pick a few things you'd like to ride. Also, since you are already getting an AP, you won't feel like you've wasted a day of tickets.

Just go prepared for the MASSES!!!!!

Have a good afternoon Nanas.......I'm having problems with internet. I'll check back later.

Morning Nanas!

Greg: Not even going to comment on that picture. Making me revisit some recent decisions here!:lmao: I can earnestly say, you are not the master of disguises at the CIA!;)

And am I to believe that your called "Tiara Bob" for no special reason?? :rolleyes1 (I'm just sayin) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Got it. Yeah..I get nervous having a good camera of any kind (even that Olympus) out on a catamaran or while I'm parasailing because no matter how tough it is if I drop it in the ocean, it's gone! :lmao: So I usually just get disposables for those kinds of things, including underwater. I think I'm sold on the Canon after doing a ton of reading last night. They are actually coming out with a new model in October - an update to the G9, the G10...so I may wait for that one.

I hear ya....I was worried about dropping this Olympus in the ocean....its waterproof to 33 feet, but if you dropped it....it would sink like a rock. However, mine came with a wrist strap that floats, so if he gets dropped it will float.

Let me know how you like the G10 when you get it. I was looking at the G9 myself before I bought this one. :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone

Nice pictures Dawn!

It's Friday!!!!! Big weekend here as Mina and Elizabeth are going camping with girl scouts for the first time ever in either of their lives. :rotfl: We're not so much camping people. They will be gone all of 20 hours. But with that comes stress with Emily the cling-on who will likely give me a very hard time coz she'll miss mommy. So I'm girding for some fun fun fun. Made sure the wine refrigerator was stocked. :rotfl:

Have a great day all.

Jeff

Hey Jeff, have fun camping! :woohoo:

I wasn't really big into camping either until we got our motor home!

My wife and kids love doing the "tent" thing, but as the "MAN, DAD, MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, FIXER OF EVERYTHING".......it sucked!!

Every time the wind would blow the tent down or it started raining or some other unpleasant event happened guess who took cover in the suburban and then guess who had to fix the problem?! :rolleyes1

I will. I was really going to get the Canon LXI digital SLR but I chickened out after seeing how big it is. Maybe I'll get that later in the year for "special occasions" unless the G10 proves to be up to more challenges than my Sony digital camera that i hate.

Oh please. *I* am not camping. I'm keeping my record clean. :rotfl: This is a girl scout thing for my oldest Elizabeth and my wife is her troop leader! Emily and I are going to have a campout in the family room with her dolls and stuffed animals!
That's my kind of camping. :rotfl2:

 Hi Shell - I promise we are going to order shirts this weekend. I have to get sizes and styles from everyone and then I'll get it done.

:wave2: Hi Christine!

And am I to believe that your called "Tiara Bob" for no special reason?? :rolleyes1 (I'm just sayin) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That was just wishful thinking on the part of some of the ladies on this board. There is no visual evidence that supports that moniker.

See, when you add the words "motor home", this no longer can be called "camping.":sad2:

BFF-IL: Bob just texted me and wanted to know who Pam & Jim are. What a dork! :sad2:

Sorry to say I don't know who they are either. Although I assume the are on the Office. That is just one show I can't get into. I have tried several times but I just don't get it:confused3

I don't know if I would admit to playing with dolls and stuffed animals around here. Could be used against you at a future point in time.
