It takes good indoor photos, but I'd be willing to bet the Canon does better.

Its hard to beat a Canon for photo quality.

I got the Olympus because it was a very good all weather all activity camera that we could take on vacation and use and abuse without fear of breaking it.

This Canon HF-10 camcorder I just got really takes some great photos for a camcorder, but I can't take it underwater without buying an expensive housing!

Got it. Yeah..I get nervous having a good camera of any kind (even that Olympus) out on a catamaran or while I'm parasailing because no matter how tough it is if I drop it in the ocean, it's gone! So I usually just get disposables for those kinds of things, including underwater. I think I'm sold on the Canon after doing a ton of reading last night. They are actually coming out with a new model in October - an update to the G9, the G10...so I may wait for that one.

Thanks Dawn. We go after school today. She is a trooper though. Went to soccer practice last night. But the coaches broke the news to her that if she gets a cast she probably won't be allowed to play in games. But we did order a waterproof cast in the event she needs it to both make her life easier (re showering, etc) and to let her still go to swim team.

Up early I see! Hope everyone has a good Friday! I'm up early trying to get all of my work finished today. Me, DD, my sister and niece are heading up to Boone, NC to see above sister's DS for family weekend. He's at Appalachian State University. They also have a home football game Sat. night that we're going to attend. Sounds like fun. I'm ready to have a relaxing weekend. What are everyone else's plans? Have any more modeling gigs Greg?

I love that area of NC. When my son was younger we went every October to Grandfather Mountain to see The Land of Oz. There is a family who sells pickled watermelon rhind and whole fig preserves. We would always stock up. Maybe I need to make a trip this year............

It's Friday!!!!! Big weekend here as Mina and Elizabeth are going camping with girl scouts for the first time ever in either of their lives. We're not so much camping people. They will be gone all of 20 hours. But with that comes stress with Emily the cling-on who will likely give me a very hard time coz she'll miss mommy. So I'm girding for some fun fun fun. Made sure the wine refrigerator was stocked.
