Please convince me why we should pay almost $30 pp for the trolly tour. What do you get out of it that you wouldet by walking around beside happy feet.

Mom and I have talked about doing this since we head about it on another area but that still is going to cost us ALOT of money for a family of 6.

What are the great things about it?

Can we walk to the Southern most point of it it way to far?

Good Morning! Waking to sunshine this morning. Total rainfall for Saturday and Sunday for Kalamazoo 10.2 inches! Had a little flooding worse than we had for the 4th of July but we kept on it and now the fans are drying us out! Even have a fan on the soccer shoes, trying to dry them out for tonight!

Sorry all ... I'm doing a little research and have a question.

Yes, I'm the one: the only person in the country still wearing gas permeable contacts.

I'm checking out the monthly extended wear (night/day) soft lenses (silicone hydrogels) and since I've never worn soft contacts before, can anyone offer any information and experience about how they are to wear, clean, what if you rub your eye with them in (I know what to do with my GPs), don't they rip easily ... just anything at all you can share.

I've been wearing soft contacts for over half of my life -- no problems. (They even make your eyes bigger. )

I've had the extended wear ones (which I'd wear for a week at a time and I LOVED them!) and regular daily wear. The ones I have now I take out each night and soak in the "No Rub" disinfecting solution and that's it. After a month or so, I toss that pair and start on a new one.

Like I said, I've seen it all (no pun intended!) with soft contacts!!!!

Okay, I know we are the new guys in town, but I neeeeed to hear back from you guys! I am really looking forward to meeting you all so that we can write and post back and forth like you all do.

We are watching Tampa Bay and Atlanta play today. I grew up in Tampa, so I have to root for them. I'm guessing that some of you New Yorkers like football, and maybe the folks from Pittsburgh and New Orleans. How about the Michigan folks? Ohio? Georgia? Illinois? Indiana? So, tell me who do you like? College counts too.

On the pro side I'm an Oakland Raiders fan (though I haven't watched them much of late); DH also watches the Bears.

We're also diehard Nebraska Cornhusker fans (though there hasn't been much to cheer about there lately, either!).

We like all sports - pro & college!

Good morning nanas!!

It finally stopped raining here! I ran a 5-mile race Saturday morning and it was POURING!!!!!

Saturday night I had my 20-year high school reunion. Wendy, I'm so glad I didn't spit my drink across the table when I read your post!

The reunion was a good time. We had about 20 classmates from a graduating class of 70 so I got to talk with everyone.
