Good Morning:

Just sitting on the couch watching tv. I got up too early and couldn't really go back to bed. It should be interesting, we got between 6-8 inches of rain yesterday and we have games this evening and saturday. I guess we will see what happens. All is well here. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning ! Keeping a watch on Hannah. We live about an hour inland from the NC coast but looking at the track right now their saying it is suppose to hit land near the southern part of NC near Wilmington and the track comes right over Eastern NC (inland) but hopefully by the time it reaches us it will have weakened...but prayers and pixie dust is definitely needed! Have a great day Nanas!!!

Thanks SO much for the prayers, pixie dust and well wishes. Doc said the procedure couldn't have gone better. I have some pain and discomfort but I'm home which is good. Hopefully I won't be out of commission for more than a week. I'm hoping it will be less but decided to set my goals a little differently so that if it is earlier i'll be pleasantly surprised.

The worst part is that I went in with a bit of a cold and a cough and the intubation just irritated my throat more. I think if I get rid of the cough and sore throat quickly, I'll make quicker progress.

Fun night in the hospital. The unit I was in had just moved to a new (older) floor. So the private room I was promised didn't happen and my "roomie" talked and had the tv on all night. AC in our room also broke and it was stifling. I got some icepacks and that helped but all he did was complain all night. Needless to say I'm exhausted today but so happy this procedure is behind me and now on the process of healing and getting ready for Nanaheads III.

Jeff:Glad you are home-always hate when a surgical patient gets stuck in a semi-private room with a talker....and with no A/C well thats just barbaric glad everything else went ok though---listen to all of your discharge instructions and don't over do!! yea yea nurse talkin' here!!

Shell: WHAT!?! I agree with Kim..what will we do??....(well I can do without the groping part) ..you are the peel that hold the nanas together ...what with your spreadsheets and Bill's artwork ...guilted yet?? I hear ya though...prices!

Wendy: How's your house?? Most importantly...how was not sleeping in the hospital???

We're sure excited to see what's coming post drydock. But we're even more excited for the drydock to start because we get to drive by the Magic twice a day taking DD to and from school. I can't wait to head over the bridge and see her sitting there in all her glory!!

I hope everyone's been having a good day. Charles and I are super busy at work preparing for the expected arrival of Hanna this weekend. Looks like we'll get a lot of rain but nothing compared to what the Gulf Coast went through this week.
