I'm doing okay. Feel more like myself every day but I'm getting impatient with this recovery thing but I guess that's pretty normal. You take care of yourself and tell Ike to go the h*ll away.

Hello Nanas! So far Hanna has been pretty kind to us here. We've had some minor flooding due to blocked drainage structures and a dozen or so traffic signal outages. If that's all my department gets we'll be celebrating!

Shell, I just LOVED the Duesey cam. He's such an adorable boy. I miss having someone to play ball with since I got a Dane after having a Golden Retriever. The Dane looks at me like I'm crazy if I throw a ball. He just waits for me to go retrieve it. So who's training who here? Anyway, thanks for sharing the videos.

Wendy, I hope you guys get your power back soon. One of the previous storms knocked power out here for over a week and people were just miserable. We never knew how much we take everything electrical for granted until it was gone. Hang in there gal!!!

The Magic was supposed to come into port here today but the Coast Guard has closed the port of Hampton Roads due to the high winds. Not sure if she was able to sneak in before the winds last night but I'll let you know if I discover anything.

Good afternoon Nanas!!

We didn't have a lot of damage or anything either from Hannah, just a few tree limbs down, etc. Power went out at some point last night in the wee hours of the morning. Got up around 7am and then I went back to bed d/t no power. Actually woke up at 10:30am and still no power so fell asleep again and when I woke up at 2:10pm we had power! ARGGGGG...didn't want to sleep that late though!!! Wish Ike wasn't going to affect anyone but I don't think that will happen. Take care and everyone have a good day. Check back later this evening!!

Welcome to the new Nanas!!!!! I'm Pam, traveling with DH Glen, and DD Allison who is 11yo. This is our 2nd cruise with DCL and 1st as a Nanahead! Also, meeting up and cruising with friends from England who we meet and were tablemates with on our 1st DCL...can't wait to see them again!!!!

Yeah my doberman does not like to play fetch or ball either....one time me and my ex-were throwing the ball back and forth to each other....and every time we did we would say...Jack get the ball....at one point we dropped the ball....he got up went over and picked up the ball and went behind the chair and laid on it I guess he was done playing...it was really funny tho...

Jack will only shake with his right paw....will not give you his left for anything....really kinda funny.....
