Cozumel....my wife wants to do Tulum, but I just don't know if I'll have the strength to drag 4 kids (ages 13, 8, 4, 2) through all that???? :scared:
I'm leaning more toward Chakannab beach myself.

C:thumbsup2

Greg - Doing anything on the mainland in Mexico is VERY tough as I have read. Lots of people get sick on the rough ride over to the mainland. And Tulum is a ton of walking, lots of steps, very hot. It's quite impressive - we did it before kids during a Cancun vacation years ago - but I really can't imagine doing it until my kids are both older. Just my two cents.

I'm watching our 12:00 news. They show Ike putting a hurtin on the Bahamas and the Keys. I hope Castaway Cay will be okay, and Key West. I'm sure they will have a lot of cleanup to do, no matter what.

Hanna is giving us a lot more wind and rain than expected. They are worried about beach erosion in Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach. At least it doesn't seem like Hanna will sit on top of us like Fay did. Of course, the surfers are out anyway!

We would like to do the Palo's brunch too, but I don't know which day would be the best. I'm sure we'll eat there one night for dinner, and I've heard that you definitely don't want to do brunch and dinner the same day! Also, I try to get chocolate souffle from there almost every night! YUM! I hope they have got some better coffee this time. Do any of you bring your own coffee? Do they have a coffee bar? Do they have coffee cards like some ships have?

No coffee bar, but they have the Quiet Cove Cafe which sells speciality coffee's and a lattie's not sure of that spelling but anyway they do speciality coffee's and hot cocoa and pastries. They do charge, not sur ehow much but my DD said it was less thanherlocal Starbucks.

Also coffee is available at the drink station 24/7 although I have been told its NOT very good. I am not a coffee drinker myself, so I dont have a personal experience with it. My DD said the Quiet Cove coffee's were very good!!

Kathy, maybe if you get some stripper shoes and hang them outside the door of your RV your neighbors will be spying on you instead of the other way around!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hi Jeff,
good to see you posting today.
I know it's frustrating being so sleepy but its a good thing to sleep alot right now. That way your body can use all its energy to focus and getting better.
so relax and sleep all you can, it will do your body good.:goodvibes

when you wake up then stop by and say hello.
You got to get in top shape for the cruise:thumbsup2

Kathy

Ok I thought I'd take the top of the page before heading back to sleepy land. Nighty night all.:cloud9:

I'm afraid they will be very diappointed in what they would see, probably upset their stomach;)

Hey Jeff, that's what I keep telling my wife. We went to Chichen Itza several years ago and took the ferry over from Cozumel and it was hot and allot of walking, like you said. It was just Janel and I then and I remember how difficult and tiring it was!! :scared1: :scared1:

Greg, just a heads up. You might check on the snorkel excursion in Key West that you are going way out rather than close to the shores. #1 they don't have soft beaches, #2 rumor has it they can dump sewage about 2 miles off shore. So something about a t**d in a punchbowl comes to mind. Just wanted to give you a warning.

Hi Tonya, thanks for the heads up!! :thumbsup2

We may just end up walking around and seeing the sites then?!

Also, what fun "adult" activities are there on board. I think we've missed some of them on our other DCL cruises.
Lisarae ... two in particular: First night, you HAVE to go to DisneyQuest! It's an absolute riot! Last night, don't miss Pub Night in Diversions. All the Nanas will be there!
