Hi all,

Wendy, glad to hear your house survived ok:goodvibes Much better than it could have been.

Happy Friday everyone.
Anybody have plans for the weekend?

Nothing special here, maybe buy some new shoes tomorrow.
Christine dont get all excited, I'm not getting stripper shoes, just a good pair of walking shoes.:lmao:

Hi Terri,
are you getting alot of rain fromt he approaching storm yet?

Kathy

Hi to everybody. I'm home today; got some injections for my Crohn's disease from a home health nurse. Hubby stayed home with me for moral support (I hate needles!) It is raining and nasty outside (remnants of Hanna.) We are pretty worried about Ike. I sure hope it turns away.

I've posted this before, but ya'll please tell me some of the excursions you are doing.

Also, what fun "adult" activities are there on board. I think we've missed some of them on our other DCL cruises.

Thanks for the info.

Hi Greg !!

Are you Mister Mom again today?

Yep, that's me....just got done changing a dirty diaper!! :scared: and fixing waffles for the kids before they left for school.

My kitchen is begging me to come clean it, but I'm so far behind on my computer work because my internet has been down for two days that I'd better get that done while I've got internet.

The cable company should be here any minute to try and get my internet fixed (it comes off and on)? :confused3

I'm late posting this morning. I've been busy with Kofi this morning. He has a cold and I don't think he feels very well. And he hates to have his nose wiped :confused3

Happy Birthday Cheri!

Well, better get a few things done while he's napping.

Hi Lisa-Well-my family is doing the Fury Catamaran and so is Christine/Joey on Cozumel and on Grand Caymen we are doing the Aquaboat and Snorkel Adventure. We have brunch ressies at Palo on Thursday but DH doesn't know--it's a surprise!! No plans for Key West...may tour ourselves or follow some drunk tour I may have heard about :confused3 :lmao:

Morning Dawn:flower3: -ever notice how fast this smiley blinks???
Morning Greg-I love that teen picture of you :lmao: :lmao:

Key West night it is. 7:00 Now pay in full and get a reservation. I could not do it for you because you werent paid yet.

NO! Are you kidding me? They wouldn't let you add us to your ressie? Do you think they will let me change the ressie from 4 to 6?

Hi Lisa,

Personally I don't know what our family is doing yet. My wife and I sat down last night and tried to figure out what excursions to take..........:confused3

I think Key West we're just going to walk around and see the sites.....possibly snorkel?

Grand Caymon......so far Stingray city is winning, but haven't ruled out 7 mile beach........my oldest son and I may try the "discover scuba" excursion?

Cozumel....my wife wants to do Tulum, but I just don't know if I'll have the strength to drag 4 kids (ages 13, 8, 4, 2) through all that???? :scared:
I'm leaning more toward Chakannab beach myself.

Castaway cay....parasailing and then just going with the flow, snorkel, jet ski, what ever looks good to me?! :woohoo:

We're open to any suggestions for must do excursion as well?! :thumbsup2

We would like to do the Palo's brunch too, but I don't know which day would be the best. I'm sure we'll eat there one night for dinner, and I've heard that you definitely don't want to do brunch and dinner the same day! Also, I try to get chocolate souffle from there almost every night! YUM! I hope they have got some better coffee this time. Do any of you bring your own coffee? Do they have a coffee bar? Do they have coffee cards like some ships have?

When I got in to Palo on Tuesday, everything was booked except dinner for 1 - 2 people. A few have said that there is usually reservations available when you get on the ship.

Jeff; You doin' ok??

Janel: how about you...feel ok?

Southern Nanas....hang on for Hanna and then kick that chick out to sea...we don't want here in eastern Pa :worship: ...well I know you don't want her either!

Hi Okie. The biggest challenge right now is that I went into surgery with a cold and cough and now it hurts like H*ll when I cough. Doc just changed out vicodin to tylenol with codeine to help knock that out of me too. But wow I thought I was loopy on the vicodin. This is just making me want to sleep 24/7.

But I can feel that I'm getting better every day. I guess I was being a bit impatient to think I'd be back working and functioning again by now. most people who have this surgery report at least a week and mostly 2 weeks before they feel good enough to begin working again. So I have decided to give it whatever time my body says it needs so that this doesn't interfere with any upcoming plans (such as a cruise).

The only excusion we have booked through Disney is the Fury Catamaran sail on Cozumel. We have a charter in Grand Caymand and of course Trey Drunk Tour of Key West.

There is lot of fun stuff to do at night. They have cabaret type shows almost every night followed by a theme dance party. They also have adult games shows. My absolute favorite is Magic Quest. Oh and we can't forget about karaoke:thumbsup2
