It wasn't that bad. The pain was flying it down to Florida. I weighted over 25lbs and I took it on as a carry-on. The flight attendants were very good to us and let us board first so I could use the bulk head to store it.

Yep, I kinda lucked out on that one!

25lbs!!!!

My wife and I got married in July here in Idaho at it was only 90 degrees outside during the pictures and I still about died from the heat with my tux on!!

Is Disney's dinning plan a good thing to get or do most of you just go it on your own?

Sounds like if we exchange into DVC we have the option of getting the dinning plan, so I want to be ready with a yes or no if they ask!

we ususally do it ourselves..we don't want to be ties down to feeling like we have to eat a certain place every day or not get our moneys worth

I did a spreadsheet to see if it would be worth it. I took all the places we wanted to eat and then looked at their menus. If you ordered the most expensive thing on the menu every time you ate it would be worth it but only by about $100. Plus you would be forced to make sure every meal was at WDW. There is a lot of work in planning when you use the meal plan so to save $100 I don't know if it's really worth it. I'm still not sure if we will book it when we go next May.

I will never do the mid range Disney dining ever again. We hated it the last time..

Either we pay for the 3 sit down meals each day, or we dont get it. We have always used it in the past, but they changed too many things,.

It probably won't be worth it for us then!

We normally don't order the most expensive thing on the menu.....(unless its a big juicy cut of prime rib!) we're meat and potatos people and expensive crap like "Duck ala Ronge" sprinkled with Caviar turns my stomach.

Sorry if I offended anyone who likes that stuff.

We're just not that sophisticated and our pallet is not that refined here in Idaho!

I love the Hoop dee Do and Whipering Canyon. If you want to do a really good character meal my favorite is the Liberty Tree Tavern, which will end this year
