I will never do the mid range Disney dining ever again. We hated it the last time..

Either we pay for the 3 sit down meals each day, or we dont get it. We have always used it in the past, but they changed too many things,.

We priced the deluxe plan and that is way too much money for us. We really aren't that big of eaters to make it worth it, but it's a really cool plan. It's like being on a cruise in WDW.

I love the Hoop dee Do and Whipering Canyon. If you want to do a really good character meal my favorite is the Liberty Tree Tavern, which will end this year:sad1:

Oh, that bring up another question?

I was going to do a Character meal while at WDW, but I'm wondering if the kids end up see allot of characters on the ship would I really need to spend the extra for a meal with them at WDW?

Is it one of those "must do things" or do you think after the cruise it won't be that amazing for them? :confused3

I don't have kids so this is just my observation but they really don't get to spend a lot of time with the characters on the ship. It's really more for pictures and most of the time they won't let the kids get autographs. If your kids are really into characters I would say go for the the character meal at WDW there seems to be a lot more interaction at those.

We did the dinning plan last year at Disney. We thought it was well worth it. (For those of you that have seen us eat, you understand) We were able to do a character thing once a day and they were even so nice the last morning that we didn't have all our snacks in and they just had us get stuff until we had used all of our credits. Made the ride to the airport a lot easier.

Hi everybody... been a great day so I need some BFF hugs
1. speeding ticket will cost 400.00 to get out of
2. gas stove (only source of cooking rather than George Foreman and micro) blew a whole somewhere, filled house with fumes, will probably need to by a new one
3. Lasik surgery had to be postponed
4. 95 degrees and 100% humidity today

Good Golly I am glad I have you guys again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hummmm let me look at the ship again!!!

ok, thanks for the info.

I was hoping that they got to spend allot of time with them in the Kid Clubs as Disney is always showing pictures of the Kids Clubs with Captain Hook or Chip n Dale or some other Character with them?! Maybe that's just "photo op" stuff?

Did you guys do the standard or deluxe dinning plan?

I know they have scheduled activies that include the characters but don't know which ones and how often:confused3.

As for Dining plan, we love it and have used it twice. My kids are teens and love to order surf and turf or anything at Kona... They actually scan the menu and try to order everything they can for as much as they can... we had filet for 3 nights in a row. Character meals save youstanding in line in the parks for character signatures when you could actually be DOING SOMETHING! We try to hit the character meal at Crystal Palace, we love Pooh and the gang and it is only one table service. Just a thought...
