Hey Pat - I just read on the main board that they have changed the way they group kids in the lab and ocean quest. This is not good news for Stacey and Elizabeth getting to hang together. Here are the new groupings:

8-10 year olds in the Oceaneer's Lab
11-13 year olds in Ocean Quest
14-17 year olds in The Stack

Elizabeth will be 10 and Stacey 11 (right?). That means they are in different places at all times in the clubs. I don't know how flexible they are in moving kids up and I am not sure that I'd want ELizabeth to be with 13 year olds anyway. This really concerns me because if she and Stacey are on the ship together but not in the club together, she will be miserable. Geez just when I thought the situation was getting better by Stacey getting to join you it has all changed.

OH BOY This doesn't make me too happy either. Going with 2 13 yr olds and they couldn't wait to be in the teen club as my DD never went to the kids clubs because it was "boring"
On a good note...They do let you bump them up without a problem, at least I've done it before.

Yes I think that's what we'll have to do. ELizabeth would be miserable (as in we shouldn't even go on the cruise misery) if she doesn't get to hang with Stacey.

Jeff,
if the clubs arnt over crowded it is pretty easy to get the older one to be put down to the lower age group if you talk to the counselors and tell them they are cruising together. I know a few people who have done this with kids, that were together. When the age is that close. In the past anyway it was up to the counselors and unless the age group was too crowded they always let the kids be together, so keep fingers crossed.
