I love having a smart, motivated kid. Elizabeth is finishing up her homework for the next week as we speak. Then there will be no homework stress on this vacation. I'm counting on no work stress for either of us. Emily is getting healthier so hopefully there will be sicky stress. It all sounds way too good to be true. I wish I wouldn't have said it out loud (or typed it that is).

She's starting to act like Christine, do you know what Christine did? She went to Disneyland to celebrate someone's birthday and NEVER said a word of it to us, we were wondering all weekend where she was.

BOD BOD Jeff...NEVER say things like that out loud. When I worked in OB, we never said the "Q" word...it's Quiet today....Damn after you said the "Q" word, many ladies would go into labor.

We use to laugh and say they all want to know what will get them to go into labor, they should only know it's the "Q" word

My greatest hope for tonight is to be able to get the car at least partially loaded for the airport. Hate trying to jam all that luggage in the car at 6 a.m. I think it's bad for your heart, like sn*w shoveling.

Leaving St. Louis at 8 am on Saturday and landing at Orlando at 11:20..supposedly. Leaving in 10 minutes to drop off the dog.

It's almost time! BTW...until I was reading the posts I forgot that I was already on vacation too!! Yay!

BTW...It's supposed to be 45 when we leave. There shouldn't be any cancellations for weather.


I didn't come back again after my introduction post...it's three of us. Mindy (30 on Dec. 3rd), Robert (30) and Avery (4 in January). This is our honeymoon! I can't remember who had the idea to pack the kid along but we figured Disney was the way to go if we were going to do so. Husband and I aren't really Disney people <gasp!> so I hope there are people on this boat who drink beer. Please let there be people who drink beer on this boat.

Okay Nana people...I am officially freakin out. I've made myself sick worrying about everything...such as... 1. We are leaving out of St. Louis on Sat. @ 8am...even though everyone said to leave the day before but we let Disney handle everything. So now I just KNOW that the flight is going to be cancelled. 2. We are going with birth certs...not passports. I just KNOW they aren't going to let us on the boat. 3. Trip reports from last sailing complains of cold weather...now I KNOW we can't go swimming.

Why do I do this to myself? Oh yeah...cuz this is like practically my first real vacation EVER.

You will be OK. Last year we only had birth certificates for our kids and we were in port getting ready to check in and I started getting paranoid even though I knew I we were OK. Paranoia is waste of energy. I flew in the same day of my first cruise too and it will work out. You are leaving early enough so don't worry...be happy. In three days you will be sailing away and having the time of your life.
