Okay Nana people...I am officially freakin out. I've made myself sick worrying about everything...such as... 1. We are leaving out of St. Louis on Sat. @ 8am...even though everyone said to leave the day before but we let Disney handle everything. So now I just KNOW that the flight is going to be cancelled. 2. We are going with birth certs...not passports. I just KNOW they aren't going to let us on the boat. 3. Trip reports from last sailing complains of cold weather...now I KNOW we can't go swimming.

Why do I do this to myself? Oh yeah...cuz this is like practically my first real vacation EVER.

The Cuban's I hired to build the plank did a "dry" test jump and says it works great! It's only rated for 275lbs or less, so no testing for me!!

If Disney is handling your flights your probably alright.

As far as Passports and birth certificates go???? We have passports so I know we're safe. I'd call DCL and ask about birth certificates?

The latest weather forecast for our destinations look pretty good to me, but I'm from Idaho.....cold to me is anything below 45-50 degrees!

I'm about 2/3 packed. DH is packing his stuff tomorrow, Samantha will pull the mad rush tomorrow also as she is the worlds biggest procrastinator.

Cindy's mom is here, I want to finish packing so I can enjoy Thanksgiving.

That's all there is for now...is DCL still giving lanyards for repeat guests? I want to know so I know whether to bring it or not. Make up and brushes won't be packed until Friday morning.

Mindy...Que Sera Sera, what are you worried about, you have no control over it. To make you feel better, I missed the boat once BECAUSE I left the day before, there was an ice storm and it was winter break so every flight was FULL.

Stop worrying, go with the flow.

Mindy you should be ok without passports. You only need them if you are flying into the caribbean not sailing. That rules doesn't take effect until next year. I understand what you are going through competely...I'm a worrier too

PS: Still raining here, the roads are a mess and some flight have been delayed/cancelled. SW will text me starting 4 hours prior to my flight so at least I won't have to sit in the airport any longer than I have to if my flight is delayed.

Jacksonville FL, it's sunny and 68 degrees - JUST PERFECT!


Yeah, it was chilly here this morning, but chilly is relative. I wore my polar fleece, over shorts and sandals. Shed the fleece about 10 am.

just doing a quick check to see who is stressed and who is ready to go!!


Mindy, birth certificates and photo ID for those 16 and over and you should be fine.
call and put your mind at ease, you dont want to stress, this is vacation
Sometimes when the islands get rain, its just a shower and its all gone but its still warm enough to swim. If your swimming your already wet, so a few sprinkles will not be a problem.

Just remember no matter what the weather, your still cruising with mickey and there is tons of fun inside the ship too

I am 99% packed, all the dogs stuff is ready for the dog sitter, the crusts are made for Thanksgiving pie. All I need to do is make pie filling and pack toothbrushes in the morning.

It is so cold here I cant wait or anything above 50 degrees.
