Luggage Tag Question.

So, we are flying in on Thursday and have luggage tags for the Beach Club where we are staying on Thursday and Friday. We are taking a limo on Saturday from the Beach Club to the port. Do our cruise luggage tags need to be placed on our bags before getting to the port? I'm assuming so and realize this is a stupid question...but I just want to make sure.

Jeff we normaly put our tags on before we hand our luggage to the Bellman that way you don't have to touch it again (if you don't want to) until you are on the ship. That is one pet peeve of mine luggage I despise having to deal with it so I don't care if I pay extra I would rather do rhat than have to deal wiith it

morning all,

cold and dreary looking here today. Very depressing outside. At least all the fog is gone this morning.

Shell, got the quiz, printed it off and will stick it in the carryon and we will do it on the plane ride to Florida

Thanks Steve, I'm sure it will be fun to test our knowledge. I know I will at least get more right than Shell does


Greg, the lights get turned on right after dark, I believe it was 6 P.M. They have about a 10 minute ceremony with singing and some talking, then the count down and bingo it all lights up.
But it is elbow to elbow people, you cant move an inch.




We always go have dinner while it is being lit up, then go over about an hour later so the crowd has thinned a bit.
About every 15 to 20 minutes they will play a couple songs and the lights will blink on and off to the music which looks really cool, everyone will stop and watch that and then move on.

If possible i suggest you go Sunday through Thursday for the least crowds.

Good Morning, Everyone! Early shift checking in

Yesterday we washed and gased the van (aka the bus) and paid our last visit to Auntie in the nursing home. She's not looking so good, and I hope she is still there when we get back.

Today we'll do the last laundry and load the bus. Tomorrow we drive, and we CAN't WAIT! 8 days, 8 hours until we are on the ship!

Well its 5am. im sick, and looking out the window at snow. What the h***. Im going to the south and Carribean. No snow till were back.

I have a huge pile of suitcases and boxes for mom. I sure cant wait to be on the road in the moring. At this point I just want to get there. I have three days of nothng but DRIVING ahead of me. I sure hope this weather changes. We packed for warm and last night I had to get ANOTHER suitcase to add "warm" clothes. That is just not right.

I thought that we put them on BEFORE WE LEFT HOME!! We're taking Disney Magical Express to the Baech Club, don't we have to have them for that too? Or should we have gotten more tags from Disney for that. Someone please help who has stayed at Disney prior to cruise.

Good Morning Nana's!!!


I have Christine's problem today. Wyatt woke me up about 4:30AM with a belly ache and he went back to sleep, but I could not. All I could think about is what I need to pack!!!

Today is my Friday off, but I have to go to work for a few hours. Then, I am off to run errands and finish up some cruise details. I got Wyatt a tux, and it's too big for him, so I have to return it this morning. I got the 18 month size, and he needs the 12 month size. The kid is 2 and still wears 12 month clothes...all the 18m pants are way too big

One week from today and we'll be headed to Disney.

I'll be making my packing list today. I hope to get all of our stuff in two large duffle bags, one hanging bag, two carry-ons, the diaper bag and the camera/video bag. Do I stand a chance? Probably not, but I'm gonna try. I do plan on packing very minimal clothes/shoes and sending them to be cleaned on the ship or washing laundry myself.

We went to Target last night, I got a few more FE gifts. Still no regional though, that'll be today's task and the grocery store b/c I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

Checking SW flights today, to make sure they haven't dropped anymore, I saved $220 last week!!!

Yep! It would have taken a HUGE bus though, for people and then the luggage is another problem.

Waking up to 9 degrees this morning! The furnace is roaring.

We are getting into the time that people are starting to leave for Florida. Everyone please travel safe! Can't wait to see the Nana's I know and look forward to meeting the Nana's I haven't met yet!

Did she leave already? Must've been because Kim was chewing with her mouth open. And Christine was wearing pasties.

No I haven't deserted you guys - you are all such chatterboxes that you are up 10 pages since yesterday, gawd!!!!!

We are all fine. Dutch is in Gr 1 now and growing like a weed. Stony actually just lost his job, which is bad, but is taking the business with him and will be working at home (remember he builds customer hot rods). We actually just moved out to the boonies on 10 acres so now he has a nice big garage which he is in the process right now of ripping up to open it up so he can get the business started. I am still same old same old as far as job goes. We are looking fwd to our trip at the end of Jan VERY much, but obviously would love to see all of our great Nana friends again - but with moving, and now the job thing, it actually would have been a bit of a bad time for us. Take care everyone and have a fabulous trip!!!!1

Only bad thing about the long range forecast I found is a chance of rain at the Port the night we leave. Depends on when it hits of course, but I really hope the sailaway party doesn't get moved inside -- that happened in 2006 and it's not nearly as much fun.

Oh man it better not rain again.....I want the sail away party on deck!!!!

That is not good At least it's far enough away for it to change 5 or 6 times. Two things I love Sailaway and Pirate Night. The weather better not f**k with either of them...I'm just sayin'

Put your luggage tag on the morning you leave for port....

I thought that we put them on BEFORE WE LEFT HOME!! We're taking Disney Magical Express to the Baech Club, don't we have to have them for that too? Or should we have gotten more tags from Disney for that. Someone please help who has stayed at Disney prior to cruise.

If your taking the magical express & stayin at disney you should have seperate tags.....thoes should be on your luggage before boarding your flight to disney....
the cruise tags need to be put on the morning you head to port....
