I will start putting up my decorations next week. I don't have my FE done or my FE gifts done(well I guess I have 1/2 done), I need to get the girls clothes out, door signs made I have soooo much to do still!!

I understand completely !!!

Not to make my bestest BFF feel bad or anything but

Xmas tree put up- done
Xmas decorations up - done
presents bought- done
presents wrapped- done
pretty pretty bows made - done
FE gifts packed- done
alcohol bubble wrapped and packed- done
door signs made- done
bff gifts packed- done
suitcase out with stuff in it- done

I'm just sayin'

Christmas decorations = No!
Christmas Tree = It's out of the box...first year that we haven't had a live tree
Christmas shopping = Some but not finished and definitely not wrapped
FE = 75% finished
FE gifts = packed? Don't you need to finish them first before you can pack them
Regional gift = No!
Door signs = 90%
Suitcases are out but clothes are in a tote beside the bed!!
Sad isn't it???

I'm new...to the board and to cruising! I see that there are like a million nana head people but since I'm new I don't know anyone. It appears that you nana people are the only ones on the boat!

Anywho...I'm turning 30 while on the cruise and it's also our honeymoon.
We are bringing our daughter. She will be 4 in January...but acts like she's
13.

My husband loves to talk...a lot. So it would be really great to meet some of you before we left. I would love to hear from any of you. We are soooo excited.

I am Kathy and my husband is Greg. We are original bananaheads, which means this is our 3rd cruise with this crazy bunch of nanas. You'd think we'd learn by now

This is our 17th DCL cruise so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. We have lots of experienced cruisers here

We are just a few years older than you, celebrating our 35th anniversary this cruise

Like everyone else said, just jump right in and start chatting have your husband join in too. We have lots of men here posting .

Please tell us all your first names and where are you staying the night before the cruise. Most of the nanaheads are staying at the Radisson but a few are at the Hyatt at OIA.

We do have a meet the first day at 2:30 in the Promenade lounge. You cant miss us, we mostly all have matching t-shirts and we tend to be a loud group of crazies


Looking forward to getting to know you while we are waiting for the cruise

I'm back from the Pitt game. Pitt stomped Miami, Ohio. Didja see me on TV Cheri?

Shell - Pitt will be beating up on your alma mater Friday night. I am not going as I have a father-daughter dance with Elizabeth.

The shuttle lands around 2:23 (first attempt, second attempt is 3:59), the DIS meet is at 2:30, and the Life Boat drill is around 4 or so. If we meet as scheduled, we should see (or at least hear) the shuttle land and then get to the DIS meet. I guess we could have time for my quiz.

So are you going to be getting updates form "ground control" so we know when to start looking for it?

Hey Steve, is the shuttle still supersonic going over Cape Canaveral?

I thought the shuttle would be subsonic at that point? Isn't the landing site only about 15 miles north of the DCL terminal?

First off Welcome Mindy (we hope). I'm Tonya, DH Trey (b-day on Nov 30), DS Hunter (12). This is our 3rd year with this bunch. Jump right in we were all new at some point.

Joanna thanks for the giggles tonight. Trey and I have been giggling like school girls, oh wait I am, he isn't. He just wants me to wear the plaid skirt and the knee highs (oh wait you weren't suppose to know that).

All is well here, Wendy your going to H**L for having all that crap done. If you were truly a Great BFf you would be up here helping me get all that stuff done so I can come play. But it will get done at some point, we don't really need a xmas tree, do we. (Trey shakes his head NO)
