Thanks for all the replys!! We are also "Disney" people. We love WDW, and everything Disney. We love cruising too, so for us, it's a perfect match. I hope we are pleased with our first sailing.

No worries Steph...you guys will love DCL!! :thumbsup2 There's not a better cruise line to take Wyatt on.

We have sailed on other lines.

Carnival, to me, it's like one big bar at sea!!! Some of you would love that line..it's all about drinking, and more drinking. I guess I'm getting old, b/c now what's important to me is Wyatt and that he has fun and that we have a great family vacation, and Carnival is a bit too wild for small kids, but the older kids love it. They also do have a Smoke problem.

RCCL- We love it! Great HUGE ships. Great for families too! Service is much better than Carnival, but the food, to me was the same. They are very strict about the No Smoking also. It's about having fun, but they market things to do as fun, like sports, crafts, dining, dancing, etc...not just drinking.

Celebrity- Just like RCCL, but a little older more refined crowd. I liked RCCL better.

True, RCCL definitely markets FUN!

Yep! That's what we thought. I mean, on Celebrity, I would have been worried about Wyatt going, but on Disney... I'm not worried at all. In the beginning, I was worried about dinner, but now that we are eating during the Main seating, I'm not as worried, b/c it'll be more kids to drown him out!!:rotfl:

"Test Packing" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I feel sorry for you, I bet you have lots of bags!! Greg says that I overpack, but this time, I hope not to.

Actually we have to pack really light because all our luggage has to fit in the trunk of a stretched Rolls Royce Phantom. :lmao:

Yeah, that's what concerns me too. All of ours and all of Jeff's has to fit in the Super Stretch Navigator!!!

Exactly! We did a Spring Break cruise with Mary when she was 12 on RCCL. There were a lot of adults on the ship who were surprised by the number of kids on a Spring Break cruise. Some of the kids behaved badly and the adults spent the rest of their cruise glaring at every kid on the ship. Mary and I were in an elevator with a man who just gave her a big time evil eye. I felt so bad for her because she's such a sweet and quiet kid. Of course that man didn't know she was a good kid but darn him for treating her so mean!

If our test packing proves to be more then the limo will hold we'll either have to cut back or hire an extra van to follow us with our luggage.

A lot of adults cruise by themselves w/o their kids, or they do not have kids, they want an entirely adult vacation, but I'm not sure a cruise is the right place. Kids are always there. But on Disney, it's all about kids!!!!!!! Greg and I were married for 6 years before Wyatt came along and we loved cruising, but we had to accept the fact that kids cruise too!

I think that I might try to pack Wyatt's clothes and stuff this week. You know for him, I have to pack a lot of extra stuff, not just clothes. Diapers. wipes, swim diapers, sippy cups, snacks, toys, and the list goes on and on and on...:confused3

I must go and do some work today.

Only 6 work days left for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I have about 12 days worth of work to get done before we leave home, and packing and Thanksgiving Dinners and Christmas Decorations...I'm tired just thinking about it.

Howdy all,
looks like we may finish this thread and start another one by crusie time if you keep posting at this rate:thumbsup2

I finally got my door signs done yesterday:woohoo: :woohoo:

Now to organize my FE stuff and I'm all set. Part of my stuff is at my moms and I will pick it up this weekend so I can finish.

Cold and foggy here today:guilty:
