DisneyFan, I called our local medical store and they sale something called a Zero Sock. Its a cover for the cast, it sucks all the air out around the cast making it waterproof. You might look into that.

Listen, when your wife loves to sew as much as mine does, it would be a well appreciated gift, especially when I upgrade her from what she has now.

However, if I gave a vacuum....I might be moving to live with you!

I'd die for an embroidery machine!

Okay, I made this offer on the last cruise, and will do the same on this cruise.

Since I will have my laptop with me, and I know that Shutters charges to download pictures, I am offering to download pictures from your digital camera to a CD or DVD (provided by you) during the cruise in order to free up memory cards, or just as a back-up. My laptop has built in readers for some cards, but will NOT handle compact flash cards. So, if you have a CF card, I will need to have the camera and a USB cable to hook up to my laptop.

I am in room 6636, so just call and leave a message and we can work out a time.

Happy last monday before we cruise

Hard to believe its almost here

Well NO furnace for us for 24 hours now. Greg is calling a repair guy this morning.
I am so thankful we have 2 small electric heaters but its still chilly in here, 34 outside high only 45 today.
I may have to turn on a gas burner today to help warm it up a bit. NO snow thank goodness, just fog and cold.

Linda drive carefully and we'll see you soon.

Guess we should make a new thread today if everyone is as chatty as they were over the weekend

Two more days and we're out a here!!

We didn't get our "test packing" done last night like I'd hoped......I was so tired I just fell asleep.

So we'll pack Wednesday, since the kids are out of school, and hope for the best.

Breaking news - ISS (International Space Station) asked for an extra day to gather data/troubleshoot a couple things. At the IMMT this morning they approved the extra day. Shuttle agreed to is as well but will still discuss at MMT at 1:00 pm cst.

Layman terms, it looks like the shuttle will not land until Sunday. Sorry everyone.

Uh Bob. I'm no expert, but I always thought a sewing machine as a Christmas gift could be grounds for divorce.

I've given my wife a sewing machine and surger as Christmas gifts before.

She buys me tools and BBQ grills, so I figure turn about his fair play!

She really does like to sew though.

She got a Brother. If the link above works it'll show you the one on Amazon. She got it specifically for the Disney embroidery feature. I've always had Singers but she's very happy with this one. I may have to think differently in the future!

Morning nanas!!!

I need help... My 7yo dd & I are travelling with our friends, Teresa & her 7yo ds. He had a freak accident two weeks ago, and his arm is broken & in a cast (after surgery). The break was so bad that they would not put a waterproof cast on it. Do you have any suggestions as to different things he could do during the cruise, or ways to get his mind off all of the water activities? The kids main purpose of our cruises most of the time, is swimming! They are not crazy about the kids club at all. I just don't know what to do, and really hate to keep my dd from swimming all the time, because he can't go. Any suggestions are VERY welcome! I feel for him, he's going to be so sad!!
