Don't forget to call the credit card company and let them know you'll be out of the country.

Ok lets see whats on my list, called about Hunters tux; found a rental car company that will allow me to drop off and pick up in Kansas City thus elevating me having to shove 6 suitcases in a midsize car; still haven't packed (getting nervous); charge all electronic devices that will be traveling with us; get postcard address around; print off on-line documents; take the PIGGY bank to the bank; finish the letter to Mom and X about who, what, when and where and Hunter needs water shoes (for all those going to Stingray city, its a must).

Is there anything else I forgot.....? Brain..... oh heck where is my brain. Oh there is it, its already packed sitting by the door waiting to leave.

I think I need a drink. Anyone else?

ttyl, going to go plot more cruise stuff.

Are you all seriously packing now 11 days before we have to leave? I can see taking out the suitcases for those who are leaving this weekend but still I wouldn't start packing yet.

Not us. We leave Thanksgiving Day. Will probably start throwing things in the extra room on the weekend but likely won't do the real packing until Tuesday and Wed.

I'm stopping by Bed, Bath and Beyond tonight to get some more travel bags for our stuff. All of the stuff that needs to go has been thrown (and I mean literally) into the spare bedroom. I will try to organize it this weekend and start putting things into suitcases. Those won't close until we are ready to leave (unless to make sure they will actually close).

I've had my suitcases out for the past month. Yes, I will be completely packed by this weekend which is late for me since we are leaving on Wednesday. I have been pre-packed for a few weeks and just keep throwing stuff in my suitcases. On Saturday I will layout each days clothes and accessories and do a final pack.

Yes that's us too. We leave Thanksgiving Day and I just wish I had an extra room to throw all the stuff in! :scared: My house looks like we're moving :rotfl: . The one thing I also do is clean my house before we go on vacation. I hate coming home to a dirty house!!

We got our Docs today!!!

Now I know it's official and I better get my butt in gear...See ya later Nanas!!

So you know what your wearing every day BEFORE you leave home, like outfits and everything? I just pack several shirts, pants, and shoes....but maybe I'll try to do better this time, since you all will talk about me if I'm not dressed to the nines everyday:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Whatcha building Greg?

He doesn't have a chance with Emily at the table. You won't even know he's there, right Shell? :rotfl:

Jeff, that makes me feel a lot better. Wyatt can be really loud sometimes, but at least he's happy!!

I will just ditto Christine's response, because that is exactly the way we feel.:thumbsup2

As far as service, I just want to give one example I like sharing. In 2006, our head server was from India. Sara asked him if that meant we would be having curry one night for dinner. He said "No, it isn't on the menu this week." However, on the second night, and every night thereafter, a plate of Chicken Curry with Rice was brought to everyone at our table, in addition to our regular entree. All becasue one person at the table asked one question! That is the reason we choose DCL.

That is great service!

I find if I pack this way I don't over do it. Of course I don't always wear what I planned on the day I plan it but at least I have complete outfits with the proper shoes, jewelry, hair accessories and under garments:rolleyes1

As I was reading your post as was thinking the same thing, I hope Steph isn't so excited she is disappointed. I think I felt that way also with Disney Dreams. Everyone on the boards said they saw it numerous times and it was breathtaking. So I was waiting the entire show to be swept off my seat and I'm still waiting :rotfl: Now, I think if I didn't hear anything about it I might have felt different about it.

I love all things Disney and Christmas. So, the combination is why I am excited. I don't think that I will be disappointed. After all, at least it's not work.:rotfl:

Good idea! I might give it a try. I always have good intentions to do this, then I run out of time to pack, then I just start throwing a bunch of stuff in and I end up overpacking.

I wish that one night this week I could get a babysitter, that way I would have time to pack and not have to hurry and make sure Wyatt is not hanging from the rafters..:rotfl: It's hard to get someone to look after him at night. Greg's parents are always too busy taking care of other sick people and my parents live 3 hours away...the nanny keeps him all day and doesn't want to stay over...so I end up with no TIME!!!!
