They just showed Everest and the Yeti. I am not brave enough to go on that coaster!! I will just stand back and watch others get eaten by that Yeti.

We watched it on the travel channel and the Yeti looked pretty neat, but never say it on the ride.......must of been broke down?

Not quite. Woke up to 32 degrees this morning with wind chills in the low 20s. Probably not much to you guys, but we don't like this kind of weather!

I am late today since we were gone all day.

It started out good but then went down hill the rest of the day. I am so glad to be home and relaxing in my chair with Minnies head resting on my computer so I can only type with my index fingers. That is normal.

Our storm stalled out so the nasty winds will come tonight. but it did rain all day. UGH!!! Lots of cops on the freeway today and they all had people stopped too. You can bet they all got tickets.

No warnings. If that cop had to get out in the pouring rain and get soaked he is going to write a ticket. Ha Ha!

Morning Dawn,
well I only got 2 hours sleep due to a bad wind and rain storm that came during the night. I wasnt scared but it was so noisy it kept me awake all night. It stopped about 4 a.m. In the RV it is really loud and shakes the place pretty good. The dogs were up all night too and of course Greg slept through it all.

I did get a few photos yesterday, but havnt downloaded them yet. I dont know how good they are, I wasnt at my best yesterday.
Poor Pixie didnt do well in a strange place and 10 people running around.
She was nervous and scared. I just about had her clamed down and the youngest grandson brought out his new Wall E robot which really terrified her and she growled and lunged at the robot and of course my DD thought she was lunging at her son.

I grabbed her collar before she got anywhere close to them but then spent 5 hours sitting in the corner with Pixie on her leash because every time someone would make aloud noise which kids do she growled and was very protective of me and her territory in the back of the eating area.
She is NOT agressive but this was just too much for her to handle all at once.

If we had arrived before people so she could have adjusted to the house first, then a few people at a time it would of been ok, but everyone was there when we arrived.

She has been around all these people before out camping and got along great but she was familiar with her territory too.

when I walked her to the kitchen and my oldest DD came in she was great, her teenage kids she was great with too when it was one on one. But with a crowd and Christian running and yelling and playing she was just too freaked out. He is autisitc so cant blame him or pixie for being to stressed either.
But for me it was a terrible diaster. Never again!!

If we go to a family gathering she will have to go to a sitter, it was just too much for her .
Just as soon as dessert was done I told Greg I want to go NOW!! So we were out of there in 3 minutes. I had a terrible headache and was so stressed , afraid she might bite someone if they came too close, so I didnt really get to see anyone accept from across the room.

I did click a few photos from the backside of the room. If any come out good I will post them.

Tomorrow we will try to go to my moms house where it is quiet and the dogs feel at home. Her mind is not so good anymore and she is getting weak and frail with old age and last week was not her best. So I want to see her tomorrow for just an hour or 2, then she is tired out and we will leave. I need to sneak her Christmas present and leave it somewhere before we leave where she wont see it until after we are gone. She thinks getting her a present is a waste of money , yet she loves opening up gifts. So I have to be sneaky.

Hope everyone else had a great new years day!!!I will count bananas today and see if we hit the 300,000 which I'm sure we did!!!

I did count up the bananas and we are

317,863 bananas posted so far.

we made over our 300,000 goal. YEAH!!!!
By the end of this thread we should be able to reach 400,000.

we can do it people!!!!!

I am proud of all of you, thats a lot of nanas.

Well I have been very busy with "baby shower stuff" not much time to post. The shower is next weekend.
Been cold here, but at least the snow is mostly gone....for now.
