My brother just e-mailed me some photos of his place. He has 20 inches of snow on his roof and an inch of ice on top of that.

They got 10 inches last night and more ice is predicted for today. he lives in Aloha which is near Portland. Luckily they havnt lost electricity so far although they would be ok with fire place and a 5th wheel in the drive way they could stay in.

WOW!!!!! Aloha doesn't sound like a place you would get 20 inches of snow!!!

Good evening everyone...just wanted to thank everyone for your kind words...it means a lot. The hard part is not being there...they live half way across the country and I had enough trouble to get flights for my Dad & Mom due to the time of year. Actually my parents got stranded in Toronto due to a winter storm so they rented a car and drove 7 hours. We are still waiting on the cause of death but it is because of a medical condition just not sure what yet.

I have been trying to keep things as busy and normal as possible...we waited until after Kierra's concert to tell her...she was very upset. She always wanted a purple room so we painted it for her yesterday. We also painted Alicia's room bright pink...you need sunglasses to enter but that's what she wanted. Still need to do a few things to get ready for Santa too...

Brantley sorry your not feeling well it's a bad time to be sick.

Dear Diary:

Life as Coki is FUN! Over the last 24 hours, I have discovered two things:

1) Christmas lights are really really cool and pretty and fun to chew! So far, Daddy has had to splice one string of lights 3 times, but overnight I made sure that he would have something to do when he got home today from work! I'm just a giving puppy, that's what I am!

and 2) There's this thing in the bathroom called a "toilet". When Mommy or Daddy are done, they push a magic button and it starts to swirl around! I'm utterly fascinated with it! I rest my head on the seat and watch it go round and round and round! Daddy calls it my "Swirley Fetish", whatever that means!

Last report on computer: 5 degrees -12 degrees wind chill. Chicago has a -27 degree wind chill. Like to hear from Denise, Sue or Cheri. This is when I'm glad we are on the other side of the lake!! We get more snow but the lake warms us

It's horrible weather here today...high winds and lots of snow Kierra took one look out the window and turned on the TV and went back to bed...she said today is going to be a pajama day for her Just going to try to get my house back to normal today from the crazy painting I have been doing. Anyone have special plans for this week? Jeff when are you leaving for WDW?
