Chuck you must be a great photographer and have a good camera. Dont think I have ever had a cannon yet. Maybe I will consider one next time because those are great photos.

Have a few unexpected minutes. Skylar is at soccer practice since they didn't have it Tuesday because of the honor's program. We are finally going to get some much needed rain. Hope it rains all day tomorrow. Then it can be nice for Saturday for everyone!

I have the Canon Rebel XT.....there is a newer model now. What I like about the SLR cameras compared to the regular digital is that when I am in sport mode...I can hold down the button and snap off about 4 to 5 pics at a time...that's how I ended up with the pics from the shows. I am still learning how to use it outdoors. The SLR's are moe expensive and not very compact, but I wanted the option to be able to change lenses and settings. We were sitting in the first row of the 2nd section. With the zoom lens I was able to get the pics.

Here are a few more. We happened to be in St Maarten the day of their Mardi Gras festival. Fun to watch but town closed down at 12:00.

Hi Kathy! No I haven't met Chuck....Hi Chuck! Nice photos! I'm Greg and we're going on the 08 cruise with the Nana Heads this November, but haven't committed to the 09 cruise yet. I'll have to read back through the posts to find out your info....if I don't find it you'll have to tell me!

Hi Dawn, missed you too! Someone had internet near the lake, but it was so far away I couldn't get a lock on the signal. We don't have internet up at Yellowstone...yet!


Chuck, I see your a DVC owner at Animal Kingdom? That looks like it would be a fun resort.

We love the AK. We actually waited to buy into DVC because we wanted the AKV. The decor is spectacular and we love the animals. One of our favorite restaurants is Boma.

I'll try and post a few pics every day from our eastern.

Hey Chuck,

Ya, I watched something on the travel channel about AK. It looks amazing!

I was hoping it would show up in Interval Internationals resort directory this year so we could exchange into it, but it hasn't happened yet?!

We're going to spend a week at WDW after our cruise, so we're on the exchange list for one of the Disney Villas.

My family and I have never been on a Disney cruise or to Disney World so this is going to be an adventure for us!!

Ya, I watched something on the travel channel about AK. It looks amazing!

I was hoping it would show up in Interval Internationals resort directory this year so we could exchange into it, but it hasn't happened yet?!

We're going to spend a week at WDW after our cruise, so we're on the exchange list for one of the Disney Villas.

My family and I have never been on a Disney cruise or to Disney World so this is going to be an adventure for us!!

Because the villas are still under construction, they may not be available for swapping. We are going in Oct and Jan and both visits we are in the Lodge. I would keep calling and check on availability for AKL....especially toward the latter part of this year, since the first units in the villas are supposed to start opening some time in Feb from what we hear.

We are hoping that by next November the new ships will be ready for Florida (at least for advanced booking) and the Magic and the Wonder will be available so can book a Mediterranean cruise to take advantage of any discounts.

I fellow Disney lover. I am one of the many Disney lovers too! I quit counting Disney trips when I hit 100 times! We've made 3 - 4 trips a year until this year Skylar is now in middle school and, as you know, it is very hard to pull him out. It about killed us to make up work from the week of the cruise last November. But we're doing it again this November!

Good Morning! I don't have much to say this morning I hope the day goes that way too! I have to rest up for an 8 a.m. soccer game, Christian's 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. baseball games tomorrow and 12 noon on Sunday and IF he wins (which they've been doing) there may be 1 - 2 games more on Sunday. Busy weekend, but I love it! They will be grown before you know it and I'll miss all the fun! But, hey, I've got Elizabeth whose 20 months today!

I'm taking off again to go camping.

Our church has a "Father & Son" outing this weekend, so my boys and I are going to load up in the motor home and take off!

you beat me again, i am getting killed with the times zones here

Loved everyones photos, we will have to ask Chuck and Chris to take the annual bananahead photo this year Does your camera have a delayed action so you can set it up and zip over and get in the photo?? we try to get a group shot every year but there are so many, some seem to get cut off including the person who takes it. Maybe this year we could do one with all the males and one with all the females and kids, that way we get shots of everyone.
we always share our photos on line so everyone can get a copy.

The staff on board will set up for large group shots but it costs $75.00 just for the photographer and then you have to buy the picture, that gets spendy for people. Just a though to consider separating us by men and women this time.

we are cool and some drizzle today, but suppose to get to 70 today, will believe it when I see it.

Greg is worse today,not better. So he is going to tell his new boss that is he isnt better by monday he wont be in. He can hire someone else if he wants, but he isnt going back to work until he i healed up.

Poor Minnie has lost all but one staple and 2 stitches so her wound is partially open, so it is very sore for her. I will be glad when it starts to scab over, there will be less chance of infection then.

Hope you all have a good weekend. I may be driving to my daughters house early tomorrow to pick up our mail. we have a few bills there and a couple of checks that i need to take care of. I tis a little over 300 miles round trip.
I hate to think about the gas prices!!

OOPS I do need to clarify something.
In 06 we didnt all get in the photo, but in 07 Chris, Melanie's DH took an awesome photo. he is a professional photographer.
I felt badly he didnt get in the photo though.

maybe if he doesnt mind doing it again, the two of you could take turns so we could ALL get in the photo this time??

I dont want to volunter anybody because it is a job to get us all together but I would love a photo with everyone including Chris this year.

maybe we could work something out between the 2 of you since you both take such great photos. that way we ALL are there between 2 photos??
Just a thought.

Thatis what I meant to say in my above post, but since we keep growing in numbers I thought it might be easier to still split the genders for the photos if we have too many to fit in??
