Morning all,
This is a big week for us - Dniece graduates from 8th grade (when did this become a big deal??) My parents are in town from CO for it. DD has 2 dance recitals (Friday and Saturday), party for Dniece and then of course Father's Day. I'm tired just thinking about this week. But if I make it through this whole week then the next weekend we are headed to Cape May, NJ for a week of camping and relaxing.

Hope all is going well with everyone. Jeff, I can't believe your trip is here already. Sounds great about CG! I've always wanted to go.

Happy Monday
Getting ready for vacation on Saturday!!!! Can't wait. Got a call over the weekend from Portobello Yacht Club that they were bumping us out of the restaurant because of a private event . Asked if they could help us get reservations somewhere else. We had been trying and trying to get california grill but couldn't get a reservation any early than 10 p.m. Voila this guy got us a 7:30 reservation!!!! Can't wait as we have never been there.

Just celebrating the Stanley Cup victory by the Penguins over the weekend - watching the parade on TV while grabbing lunch. Have a great day all.

I will. Just hope we can make it through this week - 2 swim meets (one tonight and one on Thursday) -- and my first meet as swim team parent volunteer president. I have never seen so many, shall we say, clueless adults in my life. Here's hoping their kids are NOT taking after them.

Another gloomy, cloudy, rainy day in Michigan. I have a headache to go with it!

Suppose to have a baseball game tonight--maybe if the rain goes away.

Made it through the first swim meet with minimal problems. Parents were mostly problem-free, swimmers were cute and fun as always, coach was a barking stress ball like she always is. Team won the meet! Now on to tomorrow night and our first home meet. Here's hoping the rain that is blanketing us today goes bye bye.

Seems the rain is everywhere today? I hope your headache gets better.

Nicole is suppose to start soccer on Friday, but I doubt they'll have practice if its raining.

The kids are cleaning the RV out today so I can take it over to be serviced. I let Chayce drive it over from the RV pad to the driveway (about 300 feet) he was beaming from ear to ear when he got out.

Just got back from the baseball game. Made an honorable showing only lost by one--boys played well on the whole.

Took Sinus Headache pins this morning and it took my headache away in minutes.

Not much else going on. The kids pictures are tomorrow. Probably wander around the mall a little before coming home.

Boy, Chayce getting to drive the lawn mower AND the RV! He's growing up!
