It's getting CLOSE!!!! YPPEEEEE!!!! But of course, I am a little panicked just like most of you. There was so much time and I didn't want to do things TOO early. Hah ... I should be packing instead of reading here.

Can't wait until everything is done (traveling, waiting to board, reservations, etc) and I can grab a pink drink and start to relax. By 3:00 I will definitely be in vacation mode!!!!

My DH thinks we "just go with the flow" and our vacations turn out great. He has NO idea how much planning goes into them. I love the planning and the anticipation, but I also like it when I can finally just enjoy the experience.

Safe trip to everyone who is starting their travels early.

My DS5 Matt is anxious to meet his penpals (Ian, Matthew and Max). Hope all of the little guys are at the 3:00 meet.

Anyone thinking of rebooking for next December or October '06?

Obsessive packing question: What kind of pjs to bring for the kids to wear to Goofy's pj shorts with short sleeve tops or cotton long sleeve and long pants??? Do they need to wear robes so they don't look crazy in just pjs and not sure if shorts and short sleeves are too cold at night if they're outside.

Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the PJ information. Do the kids need robes and slippers to go to the PJ party? It seems weird to be walking around in pajamas, but maybe that's why they like the idea so much! I'd like to skip the whole robe and slippers thing if it's not needed.

Oh, another question. Does anyone know what day the character breakfast is? Or does the day vary based on your dining rotation? I'm trying to plan the day we have breakfast delivered per the REASP and don't want it to be our designated day for the Character Breakfast.

As I understand it, your day for the Char. breakfast is the first at sea day after your first night in Animator's. So if you dine in Animators on Sat. night, your breakfast would be Sunday. If you dine in Animators on Monday, your breakfast would be Thurs. because Tues. & Wed. are port days and Thurs. is a sea day, and so on. Your time is determined by early/late seating. If you have early seating, I think the breakfast is at 7:30 or 7:45. If you have late, It's 9:30 or 9:45 (something like that).

Disneefun - did you get your docs yet? If not I know you must be worried. Hope you did I don't rememer reading if you finally got them. We are really in vacation mode - going out for Mexican tonight and I am ordering a drink! There are six suitcases at the front door - my father in law will faint when he comes to pick us up in the morning. I really tried to cut some of it down - but I am sure I need it all. Anyone else having that same problem?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA - nope, still no docs. I emailed my TA at DU yesterday and she called DCL to check again. This kills me. Remember I said that DCL said they'd be shipped on Monday or Tues. of this past week? Well, for some reason, they were never even printed. My TA said the DCL rep checked my reservation and looked at everything and could find no reason why this happened. Just some randon goof up DCL asked the TA to send along their apologies -- I don't need apologies, I need docs!!!!

Anyway, my TA told them to please expedite them to me immediately. Supposedly, they were shipped late yesterday, probably by FedEx. TA indicated that I could have them as early as today -- didn't happen. I figure they probably still aren't printed. But I'm not too worried. I know that I can just fill everything out at the port. Something of a pain and a time waster, but not a trip killer. I just really wanted to have them filled out and ready to go so I could just get on the darn boat, already. Big sigh....

April Riddle- Don't feel bad about 6 bags I have 8 bags and have gone through them several times and just can not make them any smaller! I am not doing laundry on vacation so I will probably use half of what I packed! Three more days and we are on the way! Must go now and finish decorating for Xmas! See you all at the meet!

Gailyn - Matt didn't go to the PJ party last year so I have no idea if the kids wear robes and slippers. I probably won't be able to get him to go this year - unless one of his pen pals convinces him!!! BUT ... we won't be bringing a robe or slippers for him. He'll just go in his PJs.

Denise - we'll most likely go to Great Bay Beach (I think that's the name) right at the port. It's so convenient. We did it on our last 2 crusies and DS5 really enjoys the beach. And I love looking out at the beautiful water and sky, sitting under the umbrella, sipping a BBC. AHHHHHH ... almost there .......

Whew ... finished my door magnets today. Cross that off the list.

You were busy today! I loved the picture of Matt in his sunglasses and hot wheels helmet. Matt and Nicole were already in bed by the time I opened it, so they will see the pics tomorrow.

Did we send you a picture of Matt? If not, let me know. Matt is pretty outgoing and I don't think he'll have any problem going to the club or the PJ party. Maybe he'll convince Matt to go too.

We went out for Mexican tonight too. Instead of packing, I was drinking a couple margaritas and looking through Disney stuff with DH. I can't believe at this time next week, we'll be on the Magic!!!!

Can't wait to meet everyone.

Good morning everyone! I'ts 5 a.m. I still can't get into a "vacation mode" for sleeping!

April and Amanda--yes, Chris will be bringing his cards--I don't think I could pry them from his hands. We're still debating first day dress, so I can't guarantee anything. I'll either be wearing a green Mickey, or have one attached to my carry-on, though, so we'll eventually meet up.

Finally on vacation! We'll start packing today sometime--probably in shifts (one to pack, one ot make sure the kids don't unpack). I've got a long list of things left to do, so it will be a busy week.

Gailyn - you sent a picture of your Matthew at a baseball game. It would be great if your Matt could get my Matt into the club - at least for the time we want to go to Palo brunch. And, yes .... I was busy yesterday - finished magnets and mickey heads, but I've hardly started packing. Luckily I have Wednesday off and the Thanksgiving dinner is not at my house!!
