HOORAY!!!
Thats alot for as short a time you've been posting here.
Down to almost 40 this morning, but in the 80's later today.

Of course I am about to pack up for the weekend. This will be extra busy for partially moving Gregs mom, next weekend she will move all the way in.
Plus I will go to an evaluation for my moms condition saturday afternoon.

She is still too bad to visit her. So I wont be doing that this weekend.


I need to work a bit more on my FE gifts this morning too. Plus I need to get new car insurance today and cancel our old policy from Florida. I have got quotes already so just need to call and actually do it.
Didnt get out licenses this week. It will be monday afternoon before we can get over there due to Gregs busy schedule. That is 1 day before everything expires. That is calling it a bit too close for me

Probably 1 to 2 years. There just arnt any good paying jobs there in Gregs line of work right now. So until the economy improves so they start building again we will stay here unless his job gives out here, then we will go where ever we need to so he can have work.
Florida has thousands of new empty homes and used homes just sitting. Those have to sell before anyone will build new ones and then they have to be able to sell those too, before builders will come back good.

So we are here until the job market gets better. May have to rent the house again.

May look for a place to rent in the spring closer to work.
In a way they fixed it. We kept their deposit
Of course that wasnt nearly enough to pay for damages which just kept piling up. We just finished getting the last repair done.
Removal of part of a wall and cleaning out where water got behind it and putting it back up again. That was half their fault.
The upstairs toilet plumbing had a leak but it was the builders fault. They came in and fixed it but then there was some water in the wall they didnt get.
The renter kept stuff in front of the water damage and didnt tell us.

We cant fix what we dont know? Then she complained to us for her living in a moldy house which was bad for the health of her childres

Saw a recent photo and the lawn is coming back. We hired some yard people to keep after the yard for us until it is ok again. More $$ spent! The pool was the BIG expense. Then I noticed in a recent photo the nice wall paper border in the dining/living room was gone? Who knows what happened to it?

Gotta go now, time to head to Salem.

Yeah, Greg, the boys are back in school--but I've been running around with my Toontown friends! Nothing much to report from around here other than soccer and working on getting the fall work done. Went to Elizabeth's first ballet class--too cute.

Yes, I knew that older women are HOT dont we just really refer to it as HOT FLASHES????

But the concert was really good....really enjoyed it and had a great time. My only complaint is....why do people pay good money for concert tickets then thru the whole show are in and out running to get drinks??? Then they get stinkin drunk and do they really enjoy the show???? Other than that we had a good time....Trace was really good and Toby....well what can I say about him???? He's just fabulos....
Had good seats we were row 26 and just a little off center....but pretty good otherwise.

Dawn: I bet the ballet class was adoreable.....did she wear a little tutu???

Well I'm totally wore out today.....not used to being up until 1am...then I got up at 8am went grocery shopping, started laundry, then clean a couple of rooms around here and washed floors....made dinner and cleaned up that mess....I think I'm gonna take a little nap.

Talked with Heather today.....the baby is getting so big...she has tried starting her on veggies.....she dosnt want them, dosnt want her cereral so she finally tried fruits and she dosnt want them...just her bottle....according to Izzy's daddy he was a real fussy eater......so I guess she will take after him.....I guess I have my work cut out for me when I get back there in october....grandma will get her to eat!!!

I'M BACK!!!

Sounds like Greg missed me, nobody to pick on probably
Starting tomorrow back to the mid and upper 90's
I will need to bake Gregs birthday cake might early this week. I think his birthday dinner may have to wait until it cools off some.

Well Greg got lots done but it was one of those weekends you have everything go wrong So it takes twice as long to work through it but progress was m ade and next weekend he will move his mom into my moms old house. Then he will still need to tear off the back porch and rebuid it and replace the roof. He hopes to be done by October 31st because vacation starts Nov 1.
I am mentally and physically exhausted so will go now but be warned I shall return tomorrow morning

Ok, August sounds good to us. I was thinking July, but we can do August if we go early enough before our kids start back to school.

You aren't planning on doing the nana reunion cruise in Nov. that year?

I get the sinking feeling that the new ship is going to take over the 3-4 night cruises for the Wonder and if that's the case I doubt we'll be going either.

When do I ever pick on you? I'm the nicest person anyone would ever want to meet.

I don't think I'll ever find another group of people I enjoy chatting with more then you guys.

Our NCL cruise chat thread was full of people who would come and introduce themselves and leave and you'd never hear from them again. Now that we've changed cruises the RCCL thread its the same story.

I don't know how these people think they can ever get to know each other if they never stick around to chat?

July is peak time. And we never know about baseball. I'm not sure when JV soccer will start in August. So between baseball and soccer we have a short time line. With talking with other parents that have had kids in AP classes, it won't be a good idea to have Skylar miss any school time, so to take a family cruise--it's going to have to be summer!
