Kathy: you just made me laugh, yesterday I went out and was on poop patrol.....now with the two dogs its soooo much more fun......

Louie gets to just run and go anywhere, whereas Jack is on a tie out....our yard is not fenced and jack only listens to the "come" command when there is something in it for him....ie: treats, chews etc......Louie will listen to the come command and we tried putting him on the tie out, but he wont poop on the tie out....its just sooo fun

Jeff may have to check out the summer mexican cruise myself.....see whats going on with that one...

DH is starting a new career-tax preparation-we should be fairly stressed here at our house for the next few months

We have never done a west coast mexican itenary. Suppose to officially announce the rest of the 08 schedule on 1/17, so we should know for sure where they are going next week.

Denise, it is good to know someone else has to go "ON PATROL" too.
Our back yard is completely fenced in, so Minnie has the run of the yard and with her doggie door, she can go in and out as she pleases. I tried to train her to "GO" in one area, but she like the entire yard!! So it is like an Easter egg hunt, just follow your noise to find the rotton eggs

it is good to hear you are officially booked!! Be sure and send Shell all your info like last time. Room number, dining early or late etc.... She has started a cruise list for us.

In fact if anyone there hasnt done it already, you need to PM your infomation to Shell for the cruise list.
Got to keep her busy, to help keep her mind of her recent tragedy!!

Have a great weekend everyone. I've got the kiddies this weekend so mine will be pretty busy. We're thinking of taking them to the magic kingdom for a few hours. That all depends on Cullen. He was running a fever for the past couple of days. I'm sure he'll pass it on to Laura! Just a matter of time.

Denise - you said you can't wait until your children "give" you grandbabies. Becareful about that word "give" I said that too and I think it was taken literally!
I truly do enjoy having them, just not for as many hours as I do at one time!

Morning all:

Kathy....I soooo could use Castaway right about now!!!!!! I am sooo jealous of Linda....basking in the warm sun on that sandy beach with a konk cooler in her hand..... too sad!!!!

Well I actually have no clue what are plans are for today. DBW is at dentist this morning, did our grocery shopping yesterday. So just not sure.....
Tomorrow taking my daughter back to the airport....boy did thoes 2 weeks go fast. Hopefully the next 7 1/2 months go as fast for her. The nice thing is, when I bring her to the airport, I am able to go and wait with her at the gate. The airlines, let immediate family members go and sit with them. So, at least I just dont have to drop her off curb side.. Then when I get home, it always takes me a few hours before I can go in her room.....Poor Louie is so going to miss her. I really feel bad for him.

The rest of you have a great weekend and will be checking in to see whats going on.

Good morning!

Not much happening here today. Jeff, Denise -- great pictures!

Jeff -- where will you be staying in Maui?? We've talked about going back there again some time, but we have Vegas in February, Ashville, NC in July (company trip), and of course, DCL in November. Not much time left for another trip!!!!

Our big excitement of the week was getting our new bed! DH went shopping last weekend to find a better mattress so his poor old back wouldn't be so sore all the time. After one night, so far, so good!

Shell -- the plot on The Office continues to thicken. . .

P.S. Guess I have to be for Da Bears this year! (I won't claim to be a Raiders fan again until they can muster up at least 5 or 6 wins in a season!!! I could be safe for a while. )

Just got back from one of the best smorgasboards (??spelling??) ever called Shady Maple in Blue Ball, Pa
Took DS out for his 17th birthday-his request-ATE WAY TOOOO MUCH-me that is.... Now I feel . DH ate so much, he is now taking a nap to digest .

we went out and got boots, goggles and gloves for riding the ATV's. Also tire repair kit and tie downs and a tow rope, just in case.
Now I am ready to relax and maybe watch a movie.

Kathy, Mike and I have a sleep number bed and we love it. Mike needs a real firm mattress for his back and i prefer a much softer bed. So its perfect for us. Plus they are quite comfortable.

Good Morning All, I am off to work tired but elated our NO Saints won last night.We are playing the championship game for the first time in our history. So the city is beyond wild today, I was just watching the news and they still have people in the French Quarter.
