Ok, this si a weird one I know, but this is a gift from Peter.
This freaky chimp head acts like it is alive. It talks at you and laughs and yells when he is unhappy, all in chimp talk of course. His weird eyes will follow you around the room. If you stroke his head (yeach!!) he likes it and will rollhis eyes at you and nicely chatter and smile.( which gave me the creeps), and if you flick his ear he gets mad and screams at you.
You kinda have to see and hear it to appreciate it.
You see the sense of humor my family has.
He didnt get it from my side of the family, it has to be his dad's side!!!

I am so happy the boards are up and running again, but now the smiley icons wont work for me, have to check that out later.

We certainly did. Our daughters and grandkids are in Oregon but we called and visited with them, so that made it extra special too.

Kathy: loved all the family pictures.....seems like you had a great Chirstmas.... ya know Shell is going to be very very jealous of your lamp....
the monkey.....yeah he looks kinda creapy.....

Christmas here was good. Went to my dads....he's 91 and last week when I went over there, we got a ham...so he put it in the oven and cooked it and then when I got there, I got the rest of the meal together. So it was quite but nice.

Just popping in to say I hope everyone had great food--we did thanks to my DH-as he has told you in the past, we would starve to death if I was cooking!! (can't get my mouse to make the icons work).

Have to work tomorrow-need to pay off this past cruise to start working on the next one!!!

Okie, I am having the same problem. I cant get the icons to work and some are just red x in a box instead of showing them.
I am hoping my son will have some idea of how to fix it when he gets home this afternoon.

First off, please direct a sorrowful salute of grief to the "day after Christmas-working class" (woo & others). I don't know how I got the day off but ....uh....woohoo!

Second, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and got everything they wanted from Santa.

Third,...Kathy, I think the Dis site woes are pretty much all due to the make-over....I'm sure after they clean things up, they'll start to work---the problems aren't originating on your end of the computer.

your probably right about the icons. I did notice a couple of threads on the main forum where others were having problems too.
I hope they fix it soon. I cant even post a banana to two.


Pretty quiet around here today. I cleaned up some of the mess, mostly dog hairs from having 2 dog in the house for a couple of days.
Now the great debate begins, where to put the Leg Lamp??
I think it would be funny to put it in the front window at night for a couple of days, just so see what the neighbors would say??
I just have to figure out how to keep Minnie from knocking it over. The front windows are her territory to look out.

Hope some more people check in soon to get this thread moving again.
We are pretty quiet here.

I was showing and telling people here at work....some of them seemed to get a bit freaked out by it....others were very curious about where they can get one....... let me know if your able to....

Denise, he got it in the toy section of Wal Mart. They just got them in 2 days before Christmas.
I was playing with it today and it really freaked me out and the dog too.

I will see if I can find a table or something to set the lamp on so the dog wont bother it. I think we would get some good stares!!!

I'll let you know what happens.
