I love it. Well Christmas came early for me this year. Hunter asked for a Wii for christmas, I said dude there are none to be had anywhere, when they come out in March I promise I will get one for you. So my mom was shopping at Walmart today, they came over the intercom and said that they had received a shipment of Wii's and they were first come first serve in the electronic's department. She called me and asked if I wanted one. My response was oh god yes. So Hunter has no idea that he will actually get one for christmas. Im all giddy and child like today.

So the question remains, should I say its from Santa or take all the credit (giving the most awesome grandma her due)?

Oh by all means ... GRANDMA gets all the credit. My sister was feverishly looking for a Wii, too, and found one yesterday at WalMart in Millersburg. Now understand that Millersburg is in the heart of Amish country here. I figure the amish kids didn't want it since it's hard to use in the dark.

That is awesome. I was in Toys R Us this afternoon and some guy took the last two. Having an 8 year old girl, I have to admit I didn't even know what it was or if I should be bummed that I didn't get one for her. Hopefully she'll never know!

And I agree..Grandma (and mom) gets their due on this one.

Hey y'all nana heads!! Sorry I've been so low profile lately. Me and California Dreamin' Doug are leaving for Mexico at 4:00am tomorrow and I am FREAKIN" OUT MAN!! I'm not the most organized packer and I have been stressing out about making sure I pack every little thing he wants, like, oh, um, I don't know......his clothes?

I will be incommunicado for the next 7 days, hopefully drinking margaritas and laying on the beach. And just WHY do we need another vacation so soon, aw geez, I don't have any idea. It just happened.

Love you all lots....miss you bunches and bunches. Throw in a bushel and a peck and I might as well make y'all an apple pie.

Morning everyone,
well today I am at home all day accept for Minnies walk. I need to boil a ton of eggs, and make my batch of pinto bean fudge. Plus I need to do a little cleaning around here.

I finally decided to be brave and put presents under the tree. I have been afraid Minnie would get into them. She has sniffed them a few times, but hasnt really bothered them, so far. Of course her presents that have food in them arnt under there because she would open them if she smelled that.

I was happy today because I heard on the news they caught a local thief who stole the salvation kettle at the wal mart down the street from me. He kocked the elderly lady who was ringing the bell up against the wall of the building, cutting her head. She is ok but the thief got away on a bicycle.

Well they got him, plus he had on stolen walmart clothes and drug items on him. Our manager at wal mart decided to help replace the $250 that was stolen. He dressed as an elf and rang the bell himself, he raised $1,000.00 and wal mart kicked in another $4,000.00 so the lost $250. turned into $5,000. I thought that was nice, he didnt have to do that.

I live in a small town and the money collected there stays local, so that makes it very nice for us.

well no other news around here, but just in case the site is down for 48 hours and I dont get the chance to post again for awhile,
