For anyone who had kids in the Oceaneers Club before, a question. Can you take them in at night if they are already asleep? we think Emily is going to fall asleep at the show. if she does and we want to go out, we're screwed unless we can take her in and plop her down on a mat. Any ideas?

What is the Ginger for?:confused3

Sea sickness...I think it's all in Joey's head...as soon as he feels the boat move he turns green. He goes on roller coasters that turn him upside down and never gets car or air sick. He takes Ginger and it make him feel better. We also need to make srue we bring Ginger Ale with us too.

I have read that Ginger works 100% of the time as opposed to Sea Bands or Dramamine. I have all three:thumbsup2

Good morning, afternoon and evening Nanas..............Not too bad on the posting for the last full weekend day before cruising!!!!!

Today's update:

-Dawn NEVER gets to order for me. Deer meat? Gross...........
-Jaime: Martinis? NO, but caribou? Oh yeah, we make time for that:sad2:
-Brantley: Hope Cassie is better........it would be rough for her to have to pass those stones alone:rolleyes1
-Christine: You can take the girl out of NJ, but................gold nail polish? Really? JK-bought some totally tacky BIG clear plastic jewelry today. Thought it would look fabulous around the pool...........
-Should have asked to make my FE; I look like a pin cushion
-Still need to pack
-You people that post at 5 am are just sick:sick: The only reason I'm getting up early on vacation is to have coffee with Mutt:love:
-I think I'm taking more shoes than all of you.........of course I have alot more room, what with no underwear and all

-The one thing that really stuck out: TARGET MADE A FRIGGIN' FORTUNE THIS WEEKEND

Howdy Nanas!

I've been packing all day and I'm basically done. Except for all the stuff I can't pack till the last minute.

Brantley -- Hope Cassie feels better real soon.:grouphug:

Judy -- How was that turkey? And that nap?

I've decided we're bringing another suitcase just so I don't have to worry about how much each bag weighs. Heck I have about 4 1/2 liters of booze sitting on my counter and I haven't even packed the mixers that go with them -- don't ask.:sad2: :sad2:

Christine, I've also realized that 10 pairs of shoes really isn't that much!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OK -- I'm hiring you to a) read and summarize posts for me
and b) shop for me!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Do you at least have a Target Visa card so 1% of your purchases can go to the school of your choice? Jacob's school could probably afford a new wing by now. . .:lmao:

OK -- off to prepare supper (or dinner). For some reason DH & DD think they need to eat.:confused3 :confused3

Ummm...hello...I'm from New York...totally different than New Jersey. Keep up will ya :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I had to take my turn of not being able to get on the boards this afternoon. So I watched the Wonder pull out instead. I actually saw it on the cape caribe site too!

You guys shouldn't say much about deer meat until you taste it the way David (my ex) makes it. First of all, it is the tenderloin. A strip kindda by the back bone. I don't like the rest of the deer. It looks kindda like a pork tenderloin roast. Oh my gosh, it's delicious. And Jaime, I've had northern Michigan deer and it doesn't taste like our corn bred deer here in lower Michigan. I've heard the expression as "it tastes wild."

Well, I'm going to spur the boys on a little bit because Amazing Race comes on in one hour.

Hi Brantley!
Elizabeth enjoyed the conversation with Cierrah today. Hope your other princess is feeling better.
Jeff

Thanks Jeff. Cierrah enjoyed talking to Elizabeth too. She said they talked about Webkinz!!!! Imagine that :rotfl:

Hi Robin!:hippie:
Jackson & I have been packing and I've been giving him a fashion show as I decide what attire I'm bringing. Earlier I took him to the mall for a haircut. That was a little rough... he has a slight spot on the back of his head because he was moving around so much:lmao:

So you guys will know my kid he's the one with bad haircut:lmao:

you should take a photo of it and save it for his photo album:goodvibes

a few years ago I gave Greg the last hair cut I have ever given.
I had the wrong setting on the clippers , plus I put the clippers right against his head and ZIP:sad2: All that was left was a 5 inch x 2inch white strip of scalp across the back of his head:rolleyes1 I was in tears and he was laughing:confused3
Peter grabbed the camera and took picutres of what I had done to Greg:guilty: Of course within 24 hours he had told the entire town and showed them what I had done:sad2:
NEVER again will I cut his hair!!
oF course he still thinks it was an accident:rotfl2:

Thanks for all the well wishes for Cass. She is feeling a lot better. Today was one of those days that they don't tell you about when you get married and have kids. Staci made her pee in a big white bowl because the Doctor said we had to get the stone to take to the urologist. They gave her a screen, but her mom was worried she would miss it. Poor kid, everytime she went this morning, she had to call us to look at the bowl. When she finally passed it, we were cheering:cheer2:

:lmao:

Brantley,

hope your daughter passes the stone soon, they are so painful!!!

Shell,
LOVE the piggy bank:love:
Now you can start feeding him for next year:thumbsup2

we did some shopping and went to the movies today.
Not much else happening today around here.

Mina,
good to see you posting again today!! You should make 50 posts by cruise time:goodvibes

Hi Rick:wave2:
Hi Josh:wave2:

I'm sooooo excited!

Bill's son, Cal, will be here for Thanksgiving. Just to give a bit of background: Call lives in Cary, IL, which about an hour from here (thanks to traffic).

Since he's so busy with high school stuff, we don't make a big issue to have him come out here for the customary every-other-weekend.

Anyhow, his mom's family isn't doing anything extraordinary for Turkey Day, so he's coming out (he takes the Metra train) Wednesday and staying with us till Thursday night. Wish he was coming on the cruise with us -- especially with so many other teens in our Nana group. . .:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Oh well, something is better than nothing!

Ok,
you ladies have more shoes than I have had my entire adult life:lmao:
I am wearing my tennis shoes and I have one pair of black dress sandals for dinner. Thats it, oh I do have boots for my pirate outfit toopirate:
