I am on serious laundry, packing duty ... but I had to take a quick break and check the thread.

Tomorrow should bring my last trip to the store (I really hope) and then we will pick up a few things in Florida on Friday.

J&C's Mom/J&C's Dad-ours is obvious: We are mom and dad to Joshua and Chelsea....real original eh?

Got home after a long day of work and stress with mom and guess what...my wonderful family changed the furniture around and put up some christmas decorations Rick gets to sleep in the main part of the house tonight!

I do hate to bring this up, we may get some s*** tonight/tomorrow..

WOW - Note to self . . .

If you are cruising with , don't leave your laptop at the office for 36 hours - you will have over 35 pages to read and feel so out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job with the postings - I will try to read them tonight and post a few notes. Been very busy trying to see clients, have a friend who had hip replacement on Thursday so I have gone to Charlotte yesterday and today to visit her in the hospital - spent HOURS today getting holiday portraits of the girls done - have to finish all packing tomorrow since I am working on monday and tuesday and going to mountains for a day trip on wednesday and then having thanksgiving here on thursday Think I will deserve a large drink on the ship . . .

I was reading on another thread (cruise report) that it is chilly if not downright cold at night ...

... and apparently in the BV Theatre.


I thought it was going to be pretty warm.

Am I going to need to repack ...

... 'cuz we are leaving Monday.

Ok Wendyleigh....surgical nurse here...inquiring mind needs to know...did your friend have both hips replaced in the past?? Usually they last at least 10+ years...was she in her 20's with first replacement?? Wow..that is a tough surgery..hope she makes out ok

Reading the boards is goooood

She has had both done - this was actually a redo on right hip which was done 11 years ago - she is doing really well and coming home tomorrow (sunday). She was up and walking some yesterday and even more today. I worry about her because I know she will push herself some and she has a 12 y/o ds and 17 y/o dd and dh travels out of town at least 3-5 days week. Actually has to be out of town on Monday night - she is brave lady though - was only on percosets yesterday - no morphine or delaudin (??sp) drip and they wouldn't give her the Oxy that was rx'd because her bp was low (which hers normally is post op but still). I would be CRYING and SCREAMING for more drugs personally, but hey, that is just me

I am a therapist - I see mostly adolescent girls, some children (depends on issues) and adults. Not many couples - so mostly child, adolescent and adult individual/family therapy - thanks for asking -
